Hi all-
We are a little late to the party, but just booked this cruise, our fifth Disney cruise, today! We've gone a few times around Thanksgiving (Wonder), last time during spring break on the Dream, so this is our first Christmas cruise. So excited! Sailing will be me and DH, plus our teen boys DS16 (at time of the cruise) and DS14.

So it looks like the first FE group is closed? We've participated during the past two times and it's tons of fun. Unless this one opens, I guess I can organize a second group if there are others who join later.

And is there a FB group going so we can get to know each other a bit?

If you are willing to organize a second FE group, my family would love to join. I could help but have never done this before. My husband and I are cruising with our DD 13 and DS 10. It is our first Disney cruise, we are so excited!

I have not seen a FB group yet but would like that as well.

On another note, has anybody done cruises (or other vacations) over Christmas before? Does Santa know you are on a cruise ship or does he leave your goodies at home?

We went on vacation over Christmas once and returned to a ton of presents under the tree (my neighbors had a key to ensure nobody got in to take my son's presents!) Santa did leave a small gift for my DS at the vacation location, but I really appreciated not having to haul everything back!

I know our crew are looking to join a FE group, I'm glad to read the different post because I was wondering how to manage the # of items. I'm just not sure how many staterooms yet are going with us yet. We probably could just do it with us but I think it will be more fun to enjoy with new friends

EDITED! Since HJD9 has found another group and I haven't heard from Family1stT, I'm going to go with the other FE option mentioned in a post below. I really don't have time to organize so joining an existing group really works better.

We did this same cruise last year and Santa appeared Christmas Eve in the lobby. He was on his way down from the North Pole and saw the ship so he stopped by. So potentially he could leave a small gift you brought in your stateroom with some coordination between the adults. Maybe he left the rest under the tree at home or something like that Kind of makes me wish we had little ones sailing with us!!
