**December 2025 Check-In Thread**

It was PACKED yesterday in both parks. People who had cancelled due to the rain were out and about. Although, it did sprinkle a bit early afternoon. This area will get busier as it gets closer to Santa's BIG DAY!
Yesterday was also Mickey & Minnie's birthday. A lot of locals make a point to visit on that day.

I think the MK is French terry, not fleece. Is that correct?

Ooh, even better. Love FT, not as heavy as fleece and I have plenty of sweatshirts already. I'm gonna have to look at those...

Dec 11-12. Arriving late the 10th and leaving the 13th. Staying at Homewood suites, Residence inn and the Hilton convention center. We have gone at Xmas every year since 2006…we were going to skip this year but got the discounted ticket code and decided to go. Can’t wait to sit on Main Street and listen to the Christmas loop and eat a gingerbread cookie!

@crystal1313 any tips for those of us who are going for Christmas for the first time?
How fun!! Yes. Take in all the decorations!! We always make a point to sit on Main Street at some point and take it all in. We absolutely love the Christmas loop of music they play. It’s nice to just sit and have a snack and enjoy the ambiance.

Also, look at the menus and decide what special holiday treats you want to try out. I’m always partial to anything gingerbread.

And of course, ride it’s a small world holiday! I find it even more magical at night. It’s also fun to ride the train at night at Christmas time. We like riding the mark twain at night if possible.

Have such a fun time!!

I’m looking forward to the holiday turkey leg, many people have said it’s fantastic. Normally I never buy them, but it seems to have a special seasoning and served with cranberry sauce

I’m trying to be better for the environment and my wallet this year by taking a water bottle with me to the parks. I always find I get real thirsty at the night after being on rides all day/all the dry ice in shows etc. Getting a bit stressed about washing it throughly at night but have to get over that.

This may be a real silly question so I apologize in advance; but if the Disneyland
/DCA map shows a bottle filling station - that’s filtered water, right?

Thanks :)

Sorry, me again with another question! Has anyone had an instacart delivery, specifically to DLH? Just wondering how easy it is etc, do they message you when in the lobby? Thanks :)

Not 100% sure, but I think most of the bottle filling stations are built into newer drinking fountains or hydration stations (like in Avenger's Campus). Those are typically designed with filtration. If you're concerned about it, try sticking to those. The ice water that you can get for free at the quick-serve locations is filtered (I asked last time we were there).

We've had Instacart delivered to the DLH and the GCH in the past, but it's been a little while. They left it with bell services, who let us know it was there. We were in the parks at the time and when we returned, we called and asked Bell Services to bring it up, which they did. You could probably just put a note on the order asking them to notify you if you want to pick it up yourself. You might post this on the main board rather than here if you want more eyes looking at it :)

Regarding water refills, you might look for the restaurants that have self serve soda (ex. Pyms, Boardwalk Pizza, Alien Pizza Planet, Craftsman Grill). Regulars often refill their water bottles at those locations. You don't need to make a purchase. If you are in a table service restaurant, they will refill your water bottle. If you are purchasing quick serve food, you can ask for water in a cup to refill your bottle.
