December 2013: We just booked!

Finally booked my return leg on Southwest (already had the flight down booked). I ended up with a flight with a plane change but it was soooo much cheaper I'll have to live with it. So December 13th to the 23rd. Flights cost us 1350 from Buffalo.
Now the room (DVC studio rented points) and flights are paid for. I have 2 day tickets to upgrade, so tickets are partially paid for.

All that's left is dog and cat sitter, airport parking, food and miscellaneous. So still about 3000 to go.:scared:

:cool1:
It's our first time during Christmas season. My Mom, myself and DD are all set up for December 13-17. The 15th will be DD's 5th bday so this will be extra special, I'm doing the happy dance since I've got ressies at BBB then breakfast at CRT to follow and dinner at Crystal Palace that night. I'm really stressing over this trip. I want it to be perfect.

We have BBB and CRT reservations that same day! For us BBB is 8:40 and CRT is at 10. My daughter is 5 too! What are your times?

I just got the next part of my trip done. I had my DBFF book our hotel for Dec 19th. Since flights were cheaper on Thursday than Friday when our reservations actually start at FW, we needed a room for the night. We are staying at AS Sports. I haven't stayed there so it will be a new experience. Now the only things I have to get are our tickets for MVMCP on the 19th and our photopass+. The MVMCP tix are the next top priority.

:wizard:We have BBB at 8:05 and CRT at 9:35. Are you celebrating your DD's bday at WDW as well?

I've stayed at Sports on two previous trips and haven't had any issues with it. Very quiet, and it was a relatively small resort, so the walks to the food court, room, buses, etc weren't long. The only complaint I had was the food court was a little outdated and had a lot of wear and tear, but I think I read somewhere that it was getting refurbed, so that shouldn't be a problem now.
I'm sure you'll find the resort a good choice for a one night stay. :thumbsup2

It's just rumor right now, but I read on a couple of sites about free dining for fall coming true. Also some "everyone pays kids prices" pins floating around for early 2014. Hopefully we'll learn of something solid soon.

Since we are only there for one night and we get into MCO early we will have time to go to DTD for lunch before heading into MK that night for MVMCP. After that night we are transferring over to FW with my parents in the camper.

Headed down in December to celebrate my 50th birthday at Disneyworld, I can't wait! We're celebrating a couple of weeks early as my birthday is the 26th, and there's NO WAY I'm going anywhere near WDW the week after Christmas!

I was delighted when my hubby offered to take me for my 50th; we're staying at Coronado Springs, only the second time I've stayed on property, so I'm excited about that too.

They sent me a PIN for free dining last month, so we were able to use that too, I figure we've got lots of pixie dust going on for this trip, LOL!

Can I join in the fun? Just booked a week @ AOA Dec 19-26. We spent 13 days at ASMu in Jan 2013 too. So I've dubbed 2013 the year of the mouse for my family.

125 days!! :cool1:Whoop Whoop!!
Super excited since this will be my first time "home" at Christmas time and I can't wait! We have ressie for CP, but I'm wondering if MVMCP is worth the money for adults with no kids, or is it mostly geared for them? :santa:

We are heading to the World from Dec 8th to Dec 21st with our 8 kiddos...staying at Shades of Green...it is our first time during the holiday season...so we are very excited.

My husband and I will be going from 12/8-12/14 and staying at CSR!This is our second time going for the holidays and we are so excited!!!

Decided on a quick trip in December 2013! We'll be at Pop Dec. 12-16. Planning on MVMCP on the 15th!

Is there a FB page for this group?

I just found this thread and just had to join in! We'll be there from Dec 14 to the 21st. I cannot wait to see the parks and resorts all dressed up for the holidays. Christmas and Disney are two of my favorite things, so I can't believe it's taken us so long to go during this time of year!

We just booked December 22nd- 28th staying at Pop Century (for now we may upgrade later) I am so excited!!! We have had to cancelled 4 trips in the last 3 years so I am really excited to finally get to go back!!!:cool1:

I encountered a Catch-22 with my plans yesterday. Originally, I had planned for my family to eat a Coral Reef lunch on Dec. 2nd and think about doing the standby line for the Candlelight Processional. I was banking on the lines being pretty light since it's a weekday and the narrator was TBA.
Then I discovered Neil Patrick Harris would be the guest.....Clearly that plan wasn't going to work anymore. :rotfl2: I've read TRs where people begin lining up at 1 o'clock for his shows.
So, I had to switch my Coral Reef lunch to a CP package. I am excited that I get to see the CP again, because I love it, but I'm worries it'll be a waste of money for me. I'll have an 8 month old, who I know won't last until IllumiNations and might not even sit through the entire show.
Ah, well, guess I'll just have to wait and see, but a part of me is still going, "Why'd NPH have to be there the night I'm in Epcot?!" :lmao:

I can't believe I talked H into it -- but we're headed back to the World with our girls in December!!!

We spent a week in a Finding Nemo suite last November. We had SUCH a great time that H & I went back WITHOUT the girls for my 30th birthday 2 month later. After that, H said we weren't going back down until November 2014 (we already had a vacation to Jamaica planned for this November).

BUT, after some persuasion, he agreed to a short (2 night) trip in December. We're leaving on our oldest daughter's birthday -- this trip will be a surprise (again -- our first trip was a surprise, too)!!! Well wake them up & tell them WERE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!

We'll be back at AOA, but since this is a budget trip we're staying in the Little Mermaid room. Our youngest in 2, so we can all squeeze in there.

There is NOTHING better than Christmas time in Disney World. I can't wait!!!

We're doing the DDP, so I need to get 2 table service reservations.

One has to be Cape May Cafe Clam Bake on 12/16, it's the ONLY thing H requested

We are going to the Xmas party the night we arrive, so we'll grab a counter service dinner in Magic Kingdom.

I think we'll use our other table service for breakfast on Monday 12/16. Im hoping for Crystal Palace, its one of the few places we havent tried yet.

I can't wait to get back to my happy place!!!

I requested to be added to the FB group, so we'll see if that goes through!
