I am sure this has already been discussed but I haven't looked through all 22pages. Does anyone have a history of blackout dates for late Nov, early Dec.? There are some pretty good prices on flights now and I am trying to get a feel for dates ... of course everyone wants a discount right. Is the Sun. after T-giving normally blocked? Looking at going sometime between then and Dec. 15th. Sorry if this is a repeat.

There is a current bounce back offer which includes Nov 30th to Dec 4th, 2013 and Dec 15th to 19th, 2013. I've heard that they usually black out Pop Warner week, which has been reported to be Dec 7th through Dec 15th. Last year they had discounts right up to Dec 23rd, which I thought was surprising. So who knows what they will do this time.

We are official! We booked last night. We will be at Pop from Dec 1-9! Can't wait!!!

We're partly booked... We'll be there Nov 29 -Dec 7 and then off for 7 nights on the Fantasy! We'll be at AKL for Nov 29-Dec 3 and then Dec 3-7 we're going back to the Poly! AKL is already booked on points. Just waiting now for discounts so that we can book our Poly stay.

I was just looking through my notes from last year for the same info. The code I used was good through 12/20. I think it started at the beginning of October. I'm pretty sure there were no blackout dates during Pop Warner. My birthday is usually around that time, and I would have remembered that .

2. Which week is better to go?
3. Are the Cars suites available for the discounts?
4. Can you upgrade the dining plan from the quick serve plan if staying in a value hotel?

I've seen Free dining stretch into December frequently lately.
Due to the popularity of that resort AoA was exempted from free dining last year. (There were a few people who snagged it until they closed that loophole.)
If you get FD at a value resort you get QS dining. You can pay the difference and upgrade to any of the other dining plans.

The discount code that I had last year was a 30% off room code. I think there was also free dining going on at the same time but you could not combine those discounts. So if you are looking at Deluxe, its definitely better to use the 30% off (depending on your family size) where as a Value the free dining was more of a money saver.

I guess it depends. I went in Dec 2011 during Pop Warner week and received a 25% room only discount at the Polynesian. Unless it has changed, I think they offer discounts for moderates not used by Pop Warner and deluxe resorts.

So if you check in on the 13 you will get free dining the whole time you are there.

I am new over here on DisBoards but loving it already. We too are in for December!!! 11/30 - 12/7 at WL. So excited and hoping for a good hotel discount...would even take free dining but rather the hotel discount!!

So excited. Our 2nd trip to the World...went April 2012.
