I used AD2338FDF and 7015504 on the Alamo site. The problem that I am finding is I cannot cancel my previous reservations on the web site. Ugh!

Exactly what are these codes by that I mean Visa, AP or what????

I had a reservation with Budget for a mini van from Dec 7 to the 14th at $304, which I thought was a good price. Today I was playing around and entered
BCD code X793200 and coupon code MUGZ165 and I saved myself $41! Now $263.
I am picking up at MCO and dropping off at Port Canaveral, so prices may be cheaper if you return to the same location.

Got it, you have to pick up at MCO to get low price.

WOW! That's a huge difference! I have noticed that sometimes if you don't rent for the full 7 days, the cost is so much higher...I don't know why. Keep trying different codes. I Google budget coupon codes for December and see what comes up. Then I play around with the codes to see if I can get a better price. Keep trying, I'm sure something better will come up.

5-7 Day rentals are the same price, so you usually get a better deal if you rent for a week. The rate was higher when the pick up and drop off were at two different locations because this becomes a one-way rental which significantly changes the price. HTH

Just got mid size from Dollar the second week of Dec. for a total of $161. Go to dollar site and click on city rate. Thrifty has the same deal.

It's their new site. I got it to accept the AD2338FDF coupon once last summer, but when I tried it a few days later it was rejected and I couldn't open my existing reservation. Since then I have not been able to get it to accept a single coupon (I have an AP, AAA, Visa, and Costco memberships, but none of them will work). Someone said to go in each time and erase your history and cookies. I've tried that and still can't get a coupon to work. I've even tried on different computers, but I guess it recognizes my insider number. My last two trips I booked Budget through Costco and then Priceline. I gave up on the Alamo site.

I'm not seeing any price changes at all. Dollar City Specials have come down a little in the last few days but they still aren't as good as what I booked over a month ago. I have a fullsize for 9 days for $196 and I am thinking that's as good as I am going to get. I was hoping to shave a bit off of that, but I think I'll just be happy with it for now.

OK, enough is enough. I've had it with Alamo. I just checked my email. Alamo just sent me a coupon for a free day for my birthday. I just went to their site to use it and guess what came up? 'Capacity check-coupon not available'. There is no way that coupon could be at capacity. It's a happy birthday coupon sent directly to my email, from them, today.

I'm at work, so switched computers and it still comes up Capacity check-coupon not available.
