**December 2012 Roll Call** Holidays, FLE Opening & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

It will be my first time and I just know I will blub at the Osbourne Lights .... and the Candlelight Processional .... and the Christmas Parade .... and when we arrive .... and when we leave .... I'm gonna need lots of kleenex

I'm a fairly brutish guy. 6' 300+ lbs, Boston, Irish. And my eyes got a little moist during the Osbourne Lights. I was totally sucked in by the Candlelight Processional. Looked with wonder at Holiday Wishes and Holiday Illuminations. And felt like a little kid watching the MVMCP parade. (And acted like a teenage girl at the mall when it came to Disney Christmas merchandise. I HAD TO HAVE IT!)

This probably doesn't impact Dec travelers, but thought I'd mention it since I'm stalking the CP Narrarator's page.

Disney now lists:
November 23 to November 25, 2012 — TBA

It had been Isabella Rossellini. So far, it doesn't look like they've rescheduled her to another set of dates.

I am freaking EXCITED! Just booked our trip in December for just DH & I for our 12 year anniversary. Everyone thinks we are weird for picking that for just us without the kids but who cares!

Neither of us have ever been in December before - I am looking forward to it not being as hot as it is in May!


Oh, we are arriving on the 9th at All Star Movies (I know, not a "romantic" hotel for our anniversary but we are just happy to be going. lol)

I would like to do the Dessert party on my MVMCP night, thought it would be a great way to watch wishes, fireworks etc.

My question is, will we have time to get from there to a good spot for the 10.30 xmas parade? Or, am I just trying to squeeze too much in?

At the moment, they aren't offering it during the MVMCP nights. I've heard that they won't be, but things always change so who knows?!?!

The December dates aren't open for booking yet and you're right, MVMCP nights are not included as per the WDW site. However, several people on DIS have been on MVMCP nights, they say it opens up nearer the time. I hope so!

12/13 (Thur): Travel to WDW from ATL. Arrive mid/late afternoon. Dinner in DTD.
12/14 (Fri): MK. ADR LTT @ 6:50 p.m.
12/15 (Sat): Epcot. CP processional package @ San Angel Inn @ 4:30 for the 8:15 show. Illuminations.
12/16 (Sun): AK morning/afternoon then to Epcot for 7:35 ADR @ Rose and Crown Pub.
12/17 (Mon): DHS. 12:45 ADR @ Sci Fi Drive In. Fantasmic.
12/18 (Tue): Sleep in. to Epcot for 12:25 ADR at Biergarten. Then to MK for MVMCP!
12/19 (Wed): Check out then to a park of our choosing, dinner maybe in DTD, then hit the road for about 2-3 hours and find a hotel.
12/20 (Thur): Finish the drive back to ATL. (Then go watch the Hobbit!)

Yes!! I've got so much stuff happening between the end of my trip and New Years that I won't have time to get sad about no disney until at least January 1 Then I figure if I do a trip report and scrapbook all the photos, I'll be good until at least March. At that point, I guess it's time to plan the next trip

I say that every time. But once I get back if I don't have another trip planned, I don't even want to think about Disney. So no trip reports or Disney scrapbooks.

Next year we're putting vinyl siding on the house and doing some other major work. If we're lucky we'll get in a quick trip for F&W. After all, it makes sense to use our APs again.

You're driving down from ATL the day we drive back to ATL - I'll wave on the way passed

We're also going to see The Hobbit the night after we get back to kinda help with the Disney blue
