**December 2012 Roll Call** Holidays, FLE Opening & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

I can't remember if this was the thread where this was asked (or 1 of the OTHER Xmas threads I follow) , and all this talk about "pirates" made me remember... Someone had asked if Rusty Cutlass and his crew still perform the version of Christmas carols at the park? Whether it was during MVMCP or not, I can't remember.

While I don't have the answer to that, I did find this . I've never seen it outside of "Once Upon a MVMCP" at the site. SO this was a cool find for me. Enjoy.

I've done EMH and it's not as crowded as people make it sound....there are quite a fe people, but it's really not bad, IMO...

If you just want to take in the sights, it can be done in 1 day. But if you want to immerse yourself and/or listen to the storytellers, better plan for 2.

After calling three times and being on hold for 20 minutes I finally got our Pirates and Pals cruise for Dec 3. I am so excited this is our something new for this trip.

Just at walmart they were clearancing a ton of Disney fabric to $2/yard if anyone is interested.

I'm going to sew a few quick customs for my daughter for this trip. Something roomy though so maybe she can use them next year too.

We'll be there Dec 8-16th. We are staying the 8th-11th at OKW and the 11th-15th at AKV - Jambo. We'll book our last night when the AP discount comes out.

For my last trip (Pre-iPhone), I wrote down our touring plan and ADRs on index cards, laminated them, and put them on a key ring. I may have to investigate my iPhone's powers for this trip.

iPhone are great for Disney related stuff. You can store your ADRS and reservations in notes or on several different apps. I like the magical guide. You can store all ADRs including # and then email them to yourself. So you have them even if you lose your phone.

All this talk of organization has made me play around with my iPhone more. First I tried out the program my email provider suggested - which was a fail. I didn't like it. Now I have been playing around with iCloud - set up and addtional email through iCloud and I am really loving it. I used my phone a little for planning/organizing now it will be easier to use it a lot. I also like the fact I can sign onto iCloud.com anywhere....

I also scanned all our tickets and stored those. (I use Evernote.) when we lost my son's ticket (on his birthday!) I just handed my iPhone to Guest services and they replaced it.

I have a list of all the high-value targets in Buzz. I have a whole section of maps - park maps, Robo maps, resort maps. That way I don't have to carry those things around in the park.

Is Evernote an app?

Evernote is essentially a virtual binder for storing all sorts of information: notes, documents, spreadsheets, pics, etc, It's FREE and the data is stored "in the cloud" so that it's accessible from the web, a desktop app and or smartphone apps. Everything you store is searchable, even things like text inside a doc or on a photo. One of my favorite features is the "web clipper" which installs as a button on your browser so you can clip a web page ( and have the actual article or screen instead of just a link to it.) There are offline features too. Also, you get an email address to mail things into your account.

As you can tell I'm a big fan. I use Evernote for every aspect of my life. Since I'm largely paperless at this point, it has become my virtual file cabinet. All the info I might need is literally always with me.

Below is my list please feel free to list any ideas. I am trying to stay away form characters just incase we don't see them plus something different. Also I would like to christmas it up a little so any help that way would be great. Keith would be the first it. Kate the second.
