**December 2012 Roll Call** Holidays, FLE Opening & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

I got Garden Grille (with Chip n Dale) 12/7 4pm for the 6:45 show. Last time we went to CP, we saw the 8:15 show and had to walk briskly to get to the CP Illuminations viewing area. Now it's dinner, show, Karamelle Kuche' then Illuminations.

Congrats!! Can I ask, where exactly is the illumination's area? Is it crowded with all the package participants? Would you say it's a good view and worth us hoofing it over there (we're in the last show)?

I thought so. Especially if you are in the last show. Illuminations is at 9:30 and the 8:15 show lets out about 9. So if you try to see it from 1 of the countries, there will be people that have been along the rails since 8pm waiting for it.

The CP area is just to the side of the gift shop that is at the entrance to the World Showcase and has a slight upwards slope from the rail to the back. Which made viewing easier. It's also near some food carts and bathrooms.

My cell phone alarm went off at 7am, and I was calling Disney Dining one second later! Luckily I had 20 minutes to collect my wits about me before I had to talk to a real, live person!

I got a 5:45 reservation at Via Napoli on 12/13. The only question that threw me at 7:20am was "how many children under 17?". Uhhhhh. I was expecting how many Disney adults, Disney children, infants, etc., so I really had to think!

It's all good. ALL ADR'S MADE! Now I just need to buy our MVMCP tickets and we will be good to go!

We aren't interested in it either. Maybe if if were just me and my mom but my husband and daughter wouldn't be able to sit still for it.

I do hope everyone gets what they are going for though. It's fun watching everyone's excitement.

We decided to watch it from outside - 4:00-5:00PM dining is just too early for us. Booked LesChefs for 7:50, plan on sitting /standing (?) at Liberty tavern with a drink to watch/listen to 6:45 PM show.

Hope everyone gets the ressie they want.

Congrats!! I really hope you get someone you like!

I was really holding out hope that the tail end of our trip's "TBA" would be Edward James Olmos. However, I ended up just going with a known Olivia Newton John because it wasn't a risk and it worked really well with our week's plan.

I just hope, now, that it doesn't end up being Olmos. I'll have a few moments of panic wondering if I can switch things around. I don't want to be stuck with the "what if" lol

Thanks I hope so too! I'm kind of kicking myself now, because we could have switched our ressies around for another day. That would have put us doing CP our last night at WDW, instead of Flying Fish. I just kind of want to stick with my original plan, & hope for the best with the CP narrator. And maybe Olmos was too busy this year I'll hope that for your sake. Those dern "what ifs" are what keep me awake at night

Well I just looked online and it doesn't look like there are ANY dinner reservations left for the CP dinner Package. I was on the phone at exactly 7am Florida time and got thru after a 5 min hold and the latest reservation I could get at Tutto Italia was for 4:45 on Thursday December 13. I'm happy with that! I just canceled a 7:05 dinner ressie at Rose & Crowne for that same night if anyone needs it.

How does anyone just willy-nilly get a CP dinner ressie if they don't sue scribe to these message boards?

Amazing! Called at 9am to make CP reservations. I was expecting to be on hold for awhile. Got connected immediately with zero hold time. Got ADRs for the 6:45p CP on 12/04 with dinner at Teppan Edo 3:40p. Now I can relax until the BOG ADRs are announced.

well I totally bombed at CP ADRs this morning ... set my alarm for 5.45am then fell back to sleep.

OVERslept woke up at 10.30am

Stumble onto the computer WITHOUT coffee, manage to book Via Napoli @ 5.45pm. Not even sure if thats what I wanted I shall review the situation when I have had more coffee

I'm glad you were able to get a CP/ADR. But...,

... Is exactly why I had a hard time sleeping last night. I kept on panicing that "OH MY GOD!!! It's 8 o'clock!!! I'll never get a CP/ADR. "

But thankfully, my paranoid nature paid off.
