We arrive early Dec 4th by charter bus to ASMusic for 4 nights. We're performing in the CP that week. We Depart LATE Dec 8th with AP's in hand for a return trip either in March or May/June.:thumbsup2

We're really looking forward to all the Christmas Decorations and hopefully doing MVMCP. :)

That's awesome you are performing in the CP! Have you done it before? Give us some inside scoop on what it's like up there. If not yet before, let us know after the fact! I added you to the roll call.

I just got an email update from the DIS - Be Our Guest reservations to start August 4th! :cool1::banana::santa:

Sweet. I can't even imagine what the reservation phone/web lines are going to be like that morning.

I paid our airfare several weeks ago. As soon as Southwest released fares we booked. If the price goes down we will get a credit but we were able to get 5 RT tix for $1298. We fly out of Bradley and that is the best price we have seen in a very long time.

Same Here! We are going Dec 8-15 and I booked thru Southwest as soon as the flights were posted. We paid the same amount for 5, nonstop RT.
We fly out of Providence.
What do you mean you will get a credit if flights go down?
I didn't know you could get a credit!

Please change my dates. I just purchased airfare this morning. I am now arriving 12/10, and departing 12/16. We will still be staying at POFQ.

Hope to see ya all real soon!!

Now I need to fix my ticker!

If the price for your flight goes down, you can rebook and Southwest will give you the amount you "overpaid" for your new flight as a credit to be used within 1 year of the purchase date of the original flight. Its a great feature.

I bought my Southwest flights from Oakland-MCO on opening day, (partially using credits from a flight I was supposed to take last week and ended up travelling using my stand-by benefits) and the outbound has gone up $80 since, though the return flight is still the same price. Just wish my Alaska companion ticket would hurry up and drop into my account so I could book our Maui/Oakland portion of the trip.

5 months left today!

I posted this on the December countdown thread, but though I should ask over here, too. For those of us going in the early part of December the Pop Warner crowds will be a factor. I read on another thread over in the Strategies subforum that the best plan is to not stay at All Stars (or was it ASMu?) (I hadn't really been paying attention to that part since we're DVC :snooty:) and as far as choosing one's park days, to "zig when they zag", or pick a different park from where the Pop Warner crowds are going to on any given day.

So the question is, how does one find out what park the Pop Warner kids are going to be at on which days? Would love to avoid crowds of teenagers if I can ... we love the E-tickets despite having kids who are just barely tall enough for them.

Our church choir performed in 2010 but we weren't able to go. The High School Choir teacher and our church choir director are the same person. My DD is an incoming freshman at BCHS and my wife and I are both part of the praise team at our church, so we're all performing this year. I can't begin to tell you how much we're looking forward to this. Ms. Tina(the choir teacher) is as big a Disney freak as the rest of us. :)

Can you add us to the roll call list? December 9th to December 17th with a split stay at AoA and Yacht Club. Looking forward to all the decorations and MVMCP on 12/11!

My family has never been to Disney at Christmas and have been dying to do it....so we are heading to THE WORLD 12/23 to 12/30! It will be me, DH, DD18, DD 13, DD10, and possibly the inlaws. We are staying off property...Disney property at Christmas is over my budget. We have found some great properties that can accommodate all of us at a great price. We were in Disney last June...how much worse can it be?

Sadly we are not going on the 11th.... but HAPPILY we'll be there either the 2, 4, or 6.... can't make up my mind!!!! Anybody been to the party on a Sunday night? -- too crowded? Maybe Tuesday would be best? Agggggggh! All these decisions!!! :earsboy:

I will be there Sunday the 2nd... Hopefully :) It is a date night for my husband and I. I am hoping the crowds are not too bad.

I would pick Tuesday over a Sunday. I would think the middle of the week would be less crowded. We are going on Thursday the 13th.

Don't go into any party expecting light crowds.

But honestly, Sunday vs. Tuesday is a tossup, and either is likely to be as good as it gets. The point is that locals won't choose a Sunday because they have to be up for school and work the next morning.

Last year that Sunday was a reasonable crowd level, but it also rained a lot that afternoon and suffered a torrential downpour during the party.

That Tuesday was about the same crowd (but without rain). Main Street was packed as always. And staff told me they were expecting a low-ish crowd that night, and in fact only had one princess room operating, leading to a VERY long wait there.

I'm REALLY hoping most of the new Fantasyland will be open for this year's MVMCP so they can spread that crowd out a little more again. I think having Toontown closed last year really made a difference on how it felt.
