December 10-15 at Royal Rooms POR!!!
Somehow weve missed the Maelstrom ride. Gonna go this time.

Looks like we'll be neighbors for a few days. We'll be doing POR RGR 12/7-12/13

Maelstrom is always 1 of my must do's.

Thanks to tofubeast's diligence, it looks like more than just webepirates and I will be neighbors. Seems that during my stay at POR, there will be 9 people on this thread that I will be over lapping with (including myself). Looks like I will DEFINITELY have to swing by Home Depot and pick up some lime green (I think it's called alien green now) mouse head sample card to deck it out with my ID and keep in my lanyard. It'd be great to bump into some of you by the pool (or pool bar), Riverside Mill, River Roost (with Yee Haw Bob) or Boatwright's

Official MVMCP Dates and Pricing is out!!

Check my second post on this thread for info.

Thanks again tofubeast. Now I have more ammo to get the rest of my group to get off their duffs and start making some decisions. And it looks like Disney shaved a few $ off the prices from last year. I'm still gonna have to hold off on getting tickets until I can see the narrator list for the CP and EMH's. Then I'll be able to finalize plans.

BUT... Since I am just a 6' 300 lbs child, I couldn't help but plug my name into the interactive MVMCP and select as many options as possible.

How does one go about getting tickets for this? Will they sell them online, or do I need to call and buy them?

They are available for sale now by calling Disney. Not sure when online sales start, but I would imagine soon.

Thanks to tofubeast's diligence....

Aww thanks. Too bad I am not more diligent about stuff I should be more diligent about like washing dishes n' stuff. hehe

I was so excited to see the MVMCP dates this morning! I honestly expected 12/18 to be the last party & we had even changed our trip to make it longer so we would be there and now they have 2 more dates beyond that...so suprised. Now instead of premium pricing, we get advance purchase discount. Yea!

Can I get some opinions???? :goodvibes

Sunday December 2nd - Monday December 10th

Sunday: Travel Day, will be arriving at MCO about 10am. Early Check-In, explore hotel/have lunch until room is ready, rest & refresh, late dinner at Ohana, watch fireworks from Poly beach.

Monday: Park Day (Possible - Epcot Low Crowd)

Tuesday: Park Day (Possible - Magic Kingdom Low Crowd)

Wednesday: Park Day (Possible - Hollywood Low Crowd)

Thursday: Rest Day (Sleep In, Character Breakfast, DTD, 4pm MVMCP. Now Touring plans does not suggest MK this day because of Moderate Crowds but since we'd only be going for the ticketed party, I don't think that matters much).

Friday: Park Day (Possible - Animal Kingdom Low crowd)

Saturday: Park Day (Wherever we want to go back, probably will hop between AK, DHS and EP, touring plans suggest AVOIDING MK as it is rated as VERY Crowded)

Sunday: Park Day Possible - Magic Kingdom Low Crowd)

Monday: Travel Day, however our flight does not leave until 7:45pm so we will spend a good portion of our day at DTD or the Boardwalk.

This is all tentative for now, I am curious to see EasyWDW predictions for December, he seems to really be on top of things and actually photographs days in the park where his predictions have totally been correct compared to TP.

When I have used Park Hopping in the pass, I usually "attack" one park during the day and use the hopping feature to see something at night after dinner. For example if we went to AK during the day, we'd probably go to Epcot or MK for their nightly festivities.

We all have our priorities. If you were doing the dishes, who would be there to tell us the MVMCP dates are out.

I'm glad things worked out for you. And it seems that it worked out doubley. Not only will you be able to do the MVMCP, but now you have a chance at going to 1 that is not the LAST 1 of the year (which tends to be crowded and possibly sold out)

This is similar to what we did on our MVMCP day. Except we did Kona Cafe in the morning. After that rode the monorail to check out the Christmas decorations at the the monorail resorts. Went back to our resort to rest. Then got into MK using our MVMCP hard ticket at 4pm.

Also, since the news of the MVMCP put me in planning overdrive, I did some research for the Candlelight Processional. I wanted to see if there were any tendencies for certain narrators. So I searched through archives and different sites and found the lists of narrators from 2008 to 2011 and put it in my PTR. If you click my PTR link at the beginning of this thread, the rosters are on post #56. These may have no bearing on this year's narrators, but it's good to see who does when, and who doesn't do it any more.

Bought MVMCP Tickets!!! Thursday December 6th! (With a giftcard so it was technically FREE) :thumbsup2

Ended up being 62.79/adult and 57.46/child with taxes included. And an additional $5 shipping fee. Just incase anyone wants to know! I only had a 3 minutes phone call wait as well! :santa:

We are now in a Royal Guest room, with a water view! So excited!!! My mom told me to upgrade today when I made the payment!!:cool1::banana:

Thanks tofubeast for all the information and for helping keep us all organized. Now I have to get with DW and D'Sis to figure out what day we want to go.

Sweet!! I will update your listing on the official or non official roll call. haha

You are most welcome. I am starting to ponder whether we should go to a party too. hmmm

Yay!! I was looking forward to May 1 for just this reason. Now to wait for the Dec schedule to be released :)

I'm also pretty pumped to see that the parties are running beyond 18th. Makes me think my options for 14, 16, 18 will have lower crowd levels. Now to decide between 16 or 18th...decisions decisions :rotfl:

I'm thinking I'll hold off to purchase until CP schedule gets released (just incase). I'm pretty confident none of my dates will sell out by then...right?

Changed our dates...we are now going 12/26-1/5. We will be there for our 10th anniversary on 12/28  and DD's 6th birthday on 1/4 :woohoo: !!! Still at AKV Kidani

We're either going to do the party on the 11th or 13th. I am also waiting for park hours to come out!

Glad to hear 12/9 is predicted to be low crowds at MK, as that is DD's bday! :yay: That is a scheduled MVMCP night, so I am going to try to get our CRT ressie as close to 7pm as I can. I don't mind being escorted out!

Please add us to the roll call!:)

Our dates are Dec 1-8 and we are staying at Pop. This will be my dh's, our 1yo twin boys, and mil's first trip to WDW! We may switch to AoA, but for now we are booked at Pop.

Btw, tofubeast, I think we've met on FB. My profile picture shows my twins wearing bright red shirts.
