I agree!!! Also, because most people want it, I want it more now! haha. Group psychology at its best! :lmao: Has there been OFFICIAL word from Disney that 8/20/noon is the time? I still can't believe they would release an official date/time. I would think they would be secretive just to ease their ADR system.

I havent heard anything official. On the BOG thread someone said noon, but then someone else said a CM said that the phones open at 7 but they arent sure when it will be loaded in the system so they are just telling people noon. But it does sound like Monday is the day. And yes, I will check online everyday just in case.

I always hear great things about dining at the Garden Grill, if you want a fun character meal with good food. Akershus is great too, but might be a hard ADR to get now. I love the SAI, so if you don't change your ADR, don't feel bad abot that. They have great food.

I was looking at Akershus - looks fun! However doing CRT ready. I think Akershus will be next time :) hmm maybe I'll keep checking for Garden Grill. I have not gone there since 2004- Is it a buffet like mist character meals? San Angel Inn does look good - but I think I want to go somewhere different since I am semi grumpy about how things were changed.

Biergarten is available and supposed to be fun with the band, if you like German food. Cape May is available too, if you want characters and like seafood. There's actually quite a bit still available. I thought maybe 8 people would be hard to book, but no. Why did I get up at 6 am on my ADR day?? Oh yeah, Le Cellier and Ohana. :rotfl2:

We love Biergarten! If you're looking for a fun restaurant - and like german food - it's great. Actually, even without loving german food, I'd go for the soup and pretzel rolls! And the kids get to go down in the middle where the band plays and dance, and hear a Christmas story.

We love Biergarten, we have done it almost every trip. The band is great and it is a fun atmosphere. I can make a meal out of the salads alone! You can look on the Steve Soares website for what times the band comes on if you are making your ADR according to the band's sets.

Checking in for December! Arriving December 8-12 staying at ASSports just in time for the Grand opening of the new Fantasy Land! Whoo hoo.

This is also a surprise trip for our girls, they are going to FREAK! ;)pixiedust:

I know this is mean, but just reading some of the comments to the Disney Park Blog BoG post today makes me just go... :rolleyes2 :confused3  :faint: :bitelip: and :scratchin

One person is asking the blog author to make ADRs for them. :rotfl2: And there are those who if they only read the blog, the answer is clearly right in front of them. :badpc:

People are commenting asking if it's going to be open in September. :rolleyes2

It clearly says in the post November 19th. Oy.

*lol* wait...I thought that was Cinderella's castle. Did they change it?

And keep in mind, these are actually people who do enough research that they are reading a Disney blog at all. ;)

I try to think of different ways to "measure" the time until Disney to see how low I can get the numbers.

17 more weekends
8 More pay days
4 more federal holidays
3 more prescription refills
1 more car insurance payment
:rotfl2:

Oh you take Disney obsession pills too?!

... And a partridge in a pear treeeeeeeeeeee. :santa:

I am still bitter that I am going to fight for an ADR on Monday for a restaurant that I havent seen a full menu for yet. Would be crazy in the real world, but somehow it's normal here. :goodvibes

Does this help or do you know this already:

The menu offerings reflect the French setting of the animated film. For lunch, expect tuna Niçoise salad, Croque Monsieur sandwich, carved turkey on a warm baguette with Dijon mayonnaise, grilled steak sandwich with garlic butter spread, braised pork, vegetable quiche and more. Naturally, there will be pommes frites, or, as we say in the USA, french fries.

Dinnertime entrées will include pork rack chop with au gratin pasta, rotisserie rock hen with roasted fingerling potatoes, pan-seared salmon in leek fondue, grilled strip steak, sautéed shrimp and scallops with veggies in puff pastry with creamy lobster sauce and an oven-baked ratatouille.

Kids' menu items will include Mickey meatloaf, seared mahi mahi and whole-grain macaroni topped with marinara and mozzarella and others.

I have seen that. DB and I are fine with it. DH is a little picky. He will be getting the burger at Le Cellier. I had Le Chefs lunch booked at one point because it has a burger on the menu too. It didn't make the final list though. But for BOG, if you take out the fancy words, he can get a pork chop or chicken so he should be okay. Thanks for posting it though!!

What are your thoughts on PhotoPass+? I wasn't going to do it but now I am reading that thread on TPAS since I need something else to obsess over. I really want the CD of 400 stock photos!!! We arent doing any restaurants with the pictures. The ride photos would be nice to have. We didnt do any PP last year and I bought the Test Track picture because I realized it was the only picture of all 3 of us in it. But if I pre-purchase it, I would be on the lookout for PP. And we do plan on meeting a few characters especially during MVMCP. I will just keep going and talk myself into it. :rotfl2:
