Anywho, you know what my ticker will say in 38 minutes? 4 MONTHS UNTIL MY TRIP!!!!!!!! That seems sooooooo close now!!!!!! HOT DOG!

So I might be adding more family to my trip! Does anyone have any experience with adding 2 people to an existing reservation? All my reservations are booked with 4 adults and 2 kids (3 & 18 mos) at time of travel. Do you think they could be walk ups at places like Ohana, chef mickeys where I know we have the empty seats to fill? I know CRT and Le Cellier would be a different story....

If there's any reservations left for a larger party, I'd rebook with the two extra now, then if they don't come you can just show up with the 6 original people and not worry about having to add any.

I'm facing a similar dilemma, in that one of my original party of 8 will probably not be able to make it due to finances, but he might be being replaced by his brother and brother's wife at the last minute instead (very last minute - they would be flying standby if they go). I figure when things are a bit more settled, we'll adjust the ADRs to the highest body count we have, then whoever shows up, shows up.

But always the more the merrier right?

I know this is only marginally Disney related (helps make the Osbourne Lights what they are), but the Trans-Siberian Orchestra has released their Winter tour dates. I've seen them a few times. It is never disappointing and always a moving experience. If you haven't seen them, make a point to.

I was coming on here to say, wow I havent made any changes to my reservation in a whole week!! And then I see that FD has been extended!!!!!!! YAY!!!! I had dropped the dining plan and was only doing a couple TS. Now I need to go see what ADRs I can get.

Count us in! We're going to be staying at CSR from 12/10-12/15. It's been a few years, but we're so excited to be heading back to the World. We usually travel the week after Thanksgiving. We love, love, love the decorations, the mild weather, the magical feeling of this time of year.

Oh, and shhhh, it's a secret. We're surprising the kids the day before we leave. We're planning to put wrapped boxes under the Christmas tree the morning before we leave. In the boxes will be goodies to keep them busy on the plane, little fun things Disney, new Disney shirts, and of course a copy of the Guide to the Magic so they can journal their trip. I might even try to come up with riddles and clues to make them figure out the TS meals I've picked out. I'm so excited!!!

Quick reminder though, don't forget to count the doubles. By that I mean, there's me and then there's my DW (Thumper_Man's Wife) who's also a Dis'er, but she's listed right next to me. I've seen about 3 or 4 like that already. Reddog1134 and Holleypie are another DW/DH group on here that I've seen in the list of names.

Good point because when I give periodic tallies, I forget to count the doubles!

EDIT: Decided to stay with the original plan (AoA Little Mermaid). I figure that it isn't often that I'll get to stay at a WDW property that has only been open for three months...plus we won't be in the room much at all besides sleeping, so amenities don't matter much.

So now that Disney extended free dining until 12/20, I'm debating switching hotels. I've priced the following out:
AOA w Deluxe Dining - $2367 (currently booked)
All Star with Deluxe Dining - $1883
Port Orleans with Deluxe Dining - $2181
Port Orleans Royal Guest Room with Deluxe Dining - $2383
Caribbean Resort King Bed with Deluxe Dining - $2349

Staying AOA would be fun because Abby (my travel partner) loves Ariel, and it's a new resort so I'm sure it'll be in great shape. But a moderate would give us more room, better bussing, and a better location in terms of placement of the resort.

Staying on deluxe dining makes sense because our booked ADRs count for 30 TS credits.

If we go the moderate route, are there moderates you would recommend? Ones to stay away from?
