Is the 8:10 breakfast a morning EMH day?
Nope, not an EMH day. Between TouringPlans.com and things I've picked up on via DISBoards, I'm trying to have us avoid parks that are having EMH hours.

I think the breakfast is the better meal at CP. Also, you wouldn't want to be rushed to see Wishes at night (unless it was a MVMCP night). Ironically enough, CP will be our 4pm dinner meal on our MVMCP night.

This isn't a MVMCP night. We'll be at MVMCP the night before :).

I have set the park days, now restaurants, I look up all the examples you guys are giving me and they all look so good. How will I ever fit in times for rides lol.

I'm asking here because I know a lot of you have pre-trip reports and know how to work this site better than me. :) How to I add links to posts I've made in the my pre-trip report to my initial post so they are easier to find? Thanks

On the upper right hand corner of the post you would like to link to is a #, ie #5 and if you click on that link it will take you to the particular post and only that one. You can also do this for pages at the bottom right hand corner, if you'd like to link to those instead. Copy and paste the address that is in your browser address bar when you are in the particular post, then insert that into the link on your original post.

Good luck! I should probably do that but my PTR is more about me thinking out loud and getting feedback from people on here since I'm a Florida noob. :cool2:

The word on the DIS-street, so to speak, is they will be at CBR - the assumption for this is there are still all categories available and plenty of availability at POR whereas CBR has black-outs on categories for that week.

Oh great :headache:. That's where we're staying. I hope they won't be too rowdy. How are the kids at the resorts during Pop?

As far as FD goes, we have a pirate themed room and my mom and brother have a non-themed standard room with water view. Both rooms were available for FD and our TA had them applied to our packages. Originally though, our TA was told by the CM that only the pirate rooms qualified for FD. However, when she went online to the TA's web site, a standard room opened up for FD and she grabbed it for my mom and brother.

I was wondering how so many people don't get there selected reservations for the restaurants, I still have not planned what park to go to on which day. But I got scared after reading so many posts on people being disappointed because their restaurant of chose was booked. I went to wdw website and put in dinner times for the most popular restaurants and got a time for a table with all of them. Am I missing something?

I went on the web site only last week and got the restaurants and times that I wanted. We will see what happens with Be our Guest though.

You can still get FD b/c your check in date is prior to the Pop Warner black out date. November 28 is listed on the dates for FD. We're checking in on 11/29 at CBR and getting FD for our entire stay (11/29-12/8).

From what I've been seeing from other DISers, there are only certain rooms at POR that qualify for FD (I think it was the garden view rooms, not sure though). Some DISers were also finding that FD for POR for their dates were not available. Because of this, you may want to have a back up resort in mind in case POR is not available.

Thanks. Yes, we already have a FD booking for POR NOV 29-Dec 5. I'm looking at moving it to Dec 11-17 to avoid the PW kids. Wish we knew where there room block was!!

I'm sure it will be fine for you. I however haven;t slept in two years since my twins SUCK at sleeping and am somewhat of a stick in the mud about what I deem to be excess noise. I'm 32 going on 85 ;). Really though, I sincerely hope you don't encounter a single issue! I'm going to go ahead and push back until Dec 11.

Happy Travels Y'all!!

Hey quick question without the park hopper can you enter and exit the same park that day, also would it be silly to use a day to go to MK on the day of the MVMCP and just stay there all day or is it better to do something else, we are there for six days but we leave around two our last day and we have six day tickets anyway. Pleas let me hear some expert opinions please and thanks in advance..

Yes, you can enter and exit the same park on the same day.

There are really a lot of opinions on what to do the morning of a ticketed party.

One is that it will be a late night and people take it easy at the resort, swim, etc. Others (myself included) do MK that day. The thinking is the crowds will be lower at MK since there are no EMH, no regular wishes or nighttime entertainment, and a relatively shorter hours. If we do that, though, we take a long afternoon break back at the resort to let the little ones rest.

Many folks have gone to Disney that week and had a magical time. But you need to go into it with eyes wide open. It is the single busiest week at Disney all year long, with parks closing to capacity on and off all week. And it also comes with the highest prices of the season if you plan to stay onsite.

If you do go, plan on rope drop (which is VERY early with the expanded park hours) and efficient use of fastpass. Pack your patience, and adjust your expectations. Don't go into it expecting to do it all.

But Disney in Disney in December is awesome. If that were my only choice, I'd be tempted to give it a go.

I feel horrid saying this....but that does not sound good to me at all. I'm not the most patient. ANd my daughter is the opposite of patient. Hmmmph. Maybe hold off til February. God. I am going to talk to my boss about it tomorrow

You get mixed reviews really. The one thing I do read is that its not so much they are rowdy, they just create traffic so timing breakfast at the resort and when you catch buses is key - basically, earlier than them ;)

And anyways - the 'assumption by others' could be wrong ... they could be at POR with me :p

We'll be checking into the WL on December 10th staying 4 nights. I may add a day before or after, currently planning the Clarion Suites Maingate on the 9th with a dinner at Sanaa and the evening at DTD to get in the mood.

You'll be fine. There are tons of POP warner threads around and don't recall reading them being rude - just excited :) Apparently you don't notice them in the parks. Don't worry, enjoy the fact that a lot of people try and avoid that week so less time lining up for rides for you guys :thumbsup2

Yes, you can re-enter the same park.

I love going to MK on a party day whether I'm attending the party or not. Crowds are so light you can get more done than in a full day. Only downside is not seeing the Electric Light Parade. We're not going to the Party thus time so we're doing one party day and one non-party day at MK.

A heads up for my fellow New Englanders. JetBlue has opened booking for flights to MCO from Prividence, starting in November. There are only 2 flights down/2 back per day. But the rates are $75 down, and $110 back.

This is exactly what we do. We don't do MVMCP, but we make sure to go to MK on that day since crowds are lighter. We don't make our dining reservation for dinner until 6:45pm, right before the park closes to us, and we are always able to do between open and 6:45 the same amount as a full day on a non-party day. Then we do a second day at MK when the hours are normal, and we see fireworks/parade then.
