We will be there from 12/6-12/11...staying at WL..picked this hotel for the most holiday feel..and b/c Pop Warner will be going on.. and was a little nervous about the crowds at the value and moderate.....hoping its not too crazy at the parks..It sure is hard playing this waiting game with park hours ,adr etc...Heres to christmas 2011!:santa:

from page 1 "I am posing this on 3/13/2011 - I am at my sister's on her laptop for just a moment. I am without internet access for the next 2 weeks. I will update this at the end of March when I am back and have access."

Yes, I read that, but it wasn't my question. ;) I was asking WHY - maybe I missed something. :confused3 Surgery, vacation, etc.

We are doing a split stay:

Polynesian Resort Nov.27 - Dec.1

Boardwalk Villas Dec.1 - Dec. 6

Some parties sell out, but I don't think too many of them would for your dates.

I would do the party earlier in the trip so if there was bad weather they could convert your tickets so you could go to another party while you were there. If you are unable to attend another party they might turn the tickets into a Magic Kingdom one day ticket for you like they did for us in 2008.

The second parade is less crowded. We focus on party things, such as the character greets, the dance parties, the show on the castle stage, the parade, the fireworks, and do not miss the castle lighting at dusk it is beautiful.

Thanks so much for the advice! Think im gonna buy MVMCP tix for WED the 7th...and hope for good weather. Its also going on 12/9 but I planned that to be my EPCOT ..candlelight processional package evening. Then what do I do?like I said I guess I have to just hope for good weather...Even though Im overwhelmed im still sooooo excited! Thanks again

ByTheblood just want to say you have done a great job with this thread!

On another note does anyone know if the Mickeys Very Merry Christmas will have discounted rates for AP holders?

Thank you sweetie! :)

Historically, they offer AP and DVC discounts. It is hard for anybody to say for certain until Disney releases official information. ;) With the pains of the economy, I bet they will sell tickets at a discounted rate.

We are going for Christmas this year!! We will be there from Dec 22 - Jan 1st, we are looking forward to it!

We are doing a split stay, DVC members half time at AKV Kidani and have not booked second place yet because of DVC 7 month window for a non-home resort stay!!! We are hoping to stay at Wilderness Lodge for our second half stay!

:goodvibes

When you have your dates booked for each resort, let me know and I will add you to the respective list.

Just a quick question. Exactly how bad will the crowds be during Pop Warner week? Our dates happen to coincide this trip and I read some TRs that say it's a nightmare and others say it's a great time to go. When we went in December way back in 2001 crowd levels were low but a lot has changed since then. Now we're spoiled by the mid-November emptiness.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. :goodvibes

The value resorts have crazy bus lines, but overall, the crowds in the parks are not that terrible. Think if it like this - if those rooms were not filled with PW kids, it would be filled with other families. ;)

Come on June 25th! I'm ready to make my ADRs! Bummed because I'm working that day and can't take the day off! :scared1: I am trying to go in 2 hours late though, just to make ADRs first thing.

It is almost April already! It will be here before you know it! :)

Can you please change my dates? Sorry.

November 26 - December 11 @ AKV
December 12 - December 20 @ BLT

Yep - we are going for 25 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

25 Days!!! WOW! That is awesome.....and i am jealous!!!

Please add me for Pop Century from Dec. 9-14th!! :cool1: I will be celebrating my college graduation! I'm beyond stoked :goodvibes. It will also be my first solo trip, as the hubby doesn't "get it." Silly man. His loss!!

Congrats on your graduation. You will have a great time all by your oneness! :teeth: You might even make some friends. :)

Popping over from the sept 2011 thread. Read this today on wdw news today and thought I would pass the info along

When Disney officially releases MVMCP information, I will add it to the first post. As this is not official information, I will leave it off for now.

This information HAS NOT been confirmed by Disney.

Please, people, DO NOT use this information to make any costly changes to your planning. Every year, people come to the Dis and post dates they pulled from another website and at least one of the days for each party are incorrect.

Thanks for posting that. :thumbsup2
