December 2011 Airfare -- When??

Does anyone know when Air Tran and Southwest open up there December 2011 dates? I know I have plenty of time, but I'm so ready to book our airfare. For some reason, our trip never seems official until we get our plane tickets!

I don't know the answer, but I'm dying to get the tickets for our trip too. I usually obsess about it for a few weeks until I finally buy them

Ha, so glad I'm not the only one! I wound up calling Air Tran and they said they usually release their fares about 6-7 months prior. I'm thinking Southwest might be the same but I don't know for sure yet.

Just booked us a Disney cruise for December and was wondering the same thing as I like to mark my calendar and remind myself when it's about time to keep an eye out!

I purchased my flights two months ago from Seattle, for 219.00! Hopefully they will cheap for you guys too!

can someone tell me if i book for jan 6th and then move to the 7th are there fees never flew southwest before and we really dont want to come home till the 7th but right now rates are within our budget

I don't believe there are fees, but if you book the "Wanna Get Away" fare for the 6th and the fare on the 7th is cheaper, you will not get a refund. Instead you will get a credit, good for one year from date of original purchase. If the price is more, you would have to pay the difference, obviously.
