DECEMBER 2010....Who's comin??

My first Christmas visit on-site and...DUHHHH...I didn't even THINK about decorating my room!!! A couple of strings of lights and a small tree will be FUN! Right up my alley!

To pass time for the next five months, I've started my research on all things Christmas at WDW! Since it is also a celebration of my niece's 10th Birthday, I have some fun planning to do. (To get the 40% BB, we are going when she is still nine - her b-day is 12/26 and we will be there before Christmas - so I will get "child" prices for her one more time!!! )

staying at POP 12-18th for my 40th b-day (16th) and our first time going in
Dec. the past 5 trips was sept. for the free dining, but holiday decor and temps should be much nicer. Any one know if the crowds at the time im there similar to sept the week right after labor day?

Just switched my reservation from a room only at the Beach Club to Free Dining at the All Star Music. It will be just me and my dad, December 2-6.

Staying at the Beach Club would have been great, but staying at the Music with dining and passes is cheaper than staying at the Beach Club without. We only will be using the resort to sleep, so the pool would have been wasted on us.

We have never been to WDW during the Christmas season before, so I am really excited! And now that we are at an All Star Resort, I won't feel strange decorating my window!

It will be me and my DH's second trip! We are staying at CSR (12/12-12/17)and cannot wait! Always wanted to go to Disney and see the Christmas decorations!

DH & I are booked at Pop for free dining for Dec 16-19...after a 4 day cruise on the wonder (PCC 2.0)..This will be our 2nd trip in dec..we went last yr for Dis-A-Polooza....This trip will just be DH & I for our 20th anniversary...

We will be at WDW Nov. 27 through Dec. 4, can't wait. I love going this time of year, the resorts are so pretty with all of the Christmas decorations and this trip we will be staying at BC for the first time, then we move over to the Poly for the rest of the vac.

Well I guess I was wrong when I said I was not call Guest services anymore LOL We have gone and changed again! Family origanally said no to TS dining because it took to long. Well then DM decided there were a few TS restaurants she didnt want to miss so we added the reservations. Now we are up to 3 table service reservations and after number crunching have decided it will be more cost effective to upgrade to a mod hotel with free regular dining....so long story short we are staying at the PORFQ. I am so excited!!! AND I got dinner reservations for Narcoosee's so I hope we like it!

i have never been during december, how are the crowds like for december 5-11 or december 12-18? i know its not majorly crowded but for december 12-18 is it more crowded cuz its closer tp christmas? i knnow piop warner is december 4-11 how do they affect the park crowds? sorry for so much questions.i just really want to go during decmeber because we had to cancel our trip for next week.

Hey!! We will be there Nov. 29th - Dec. 7th at the Cabins as well! This will be our first time at the Cabins, but are so looking forward to it. We planned on doing All Stars again, but then got a pin in our email. So we figured we would go up a grade. We love the fact it has bunk beds for our kids and a separate bedroom so we can hang out after the kids go to bed. I can't wait!

Our last trip to WDW was a real bust, so we are having a make up trip. We had wanted to wait another year or two, but we really want to have a better memory than the last trip. So we decided to go when the Christmas stuff is up to help with the magic for us. We love holiday decorations. We are hoping to surprise the kids with it at the last minute.

I just can't wait to start planning our ADR's and days! It will be great. I can't wait!!

Are you guys renting a cart? We heard it is a good idea. We are thinking about getting one from off site. Any suggestions or tips for FW? Since you have been there before...

I brought a little miniature xmas trees and added battery operated lights. I brought a plastic santa door cover and flat ornaments that I hung with hooks onto the string of lights that I attached to the golf cart. I packed all of this in my suitcase. In all, it took about an hour to decorate but it was well worth it, we had the kids involved and then at night, it was nice to turn the lights on the golf carts and take rides around the campground to see all the RV decorations. There were SOOO MANY!!! It was a adventure in itself.
