I love all your pictures. I have always wanted to go to Ireland. My room mate in college parents are from Ireland. She was born in Canada but all her relatives are still there.
I'm from Ireland...
Luvin the earlier Dublin pics and omg never noticed the hidden mickey on the clock on st. stephens green sc!
Love the fact you took the doll on hols and took pics of her as well.. I have a bear I do that with although tend to just take pics of him around the hotel because mam gets a bit embarrassed if i take him out lol!
I was over a month behind, but I am caught up now. I love seeing the similarities and differences between DLP and WDW. Seeing snow on the castle is both strange and magical! I am sure it must have been hard touring in that frigid weather, but it still looks like a lot of fun.
Did anyone in your group ride ToT? How did that compare to the one in HS?
As usual, lovely pictures. Sorry to hear that Dart was feeling under the weather.
I love climbing the castle!! The views are amazing! Can you imagine if they let you do that in WDW?! We love the 'foreign' Stacey's too, the Spanish one makes us laugh the most! They definitely get the disney excitement flowing!!
I have gone back to read your first two trip reports and I am almost finished with the third one. You have a great writing style that is so entertaining. Thanks for sharing your trips with us, and keep the reports coming.
The German Stacy. She seemed a little angry sometimes. I don't speak German, but you could tell the dialog was the same, because when the British Stacy would say "sorted" this Stacy would say "Ap-ci-hat!" (so naturally we started saying that too!)
Thank you for a wonderful trip report, it was such fun reading!
I must admit though that I will now probably spend all day racking my brain to find out what the German Stacy actually said, because when you write "Ap-ci-hat", absolutely no German word comes to mind. Hmmm. Something to keep myself occupied with until the start of the Germany-vs-Serbia soccer game this afternoon
So happy to catch up with the rest of the dlp trip!
You gave me some advice about being away from home a few months ago, and you are right, it feels natural! I miss my grandma a lot, but i certainly don't miss DC. And it doesn't hurt that I'm 20-30 minutes away from Disney World depending on traffic. DH is taking me over tonight to watch the fireworks We've done that every weekend since we've been here. I'm pretty distracted and everything is new and fun and an adventure so I think I adjusted much better than I thought I would. And I'm only 40 minutes from the beach, so for this beach lover that is great too!
Oh, thank goodness you guys made it back to Dublin okay! Something similar happened to me when I was in London a few years ago. I had checked in online and everything was fine. Well, I got to the airport early since my husband's flight was a bit earlier than mine (I joined him later on a business trip so we had different fllights). And what did I find when I tried to print my boarding pass at the kiosk? A message saying to go speak with someone - my flight had been cancelled! It was a nightmare and I ended up waiting an extra 6 hours in the airport for the only other flight they could book me on. I guess I don't have better luck than you when it comes to travelling in Europe!
Whew! Glad you all made it back in time!
I LOVE those snowflake pictures! Beautiful!
I'm looking forward to hearing about the rest of your Tour of Europe - especially Venice - I'm a lover of Italian things and want to go to Italy someday.
