December 2009

I'm curious to hear what you think about DLP as a whole. We are planning to go to Paris when we go to London and wondering how much time to allot for DLP. If we don't hit roller coasters, can we see a lot in one day?

It is so weird to see the snow!! Seems very Christmasy!:santa:

The palm tree with the snow on it was just plain wrong!!! :rotfl: It's just so out of place. I love the Cars area. We are huge fans of that movie in our house. I've never seen HSM (gasp!), but that CS place looks cute.

I can't believe how much bread people were eating at breakfast! If I ate that many carbs in one sitting, I'd need a nap!

Thanks for the great update :)
I still cannot get past the snow!! I think it would really bug me out to see a Disney Park covered in cold white stuff :)..still looks really fun though..love the little Cars area!

WOWZA! Those French people LOVE their bread :lmao: The pic of the bread table has a woman right behind it with a tray filled with bread---and she looks like she was on a mission! Just love it, thanks for the laugh!

Reminds me of B&TB: "Marie! The Baugettes! Hurry up!";)

I am so jealous! I can not figure out why there is no Cars ride, Crush coaster or HSM restaurant at WDW!!! How cool is that?! Thanks for the update!

Snow and Disney just seem odd to those of us in the US. Not sure I like it.:confused3 I heard once that St Louis was being considered for a US park, I guess then we would see snow in a US park.

Very interesting TR, just seems so different from your other reports.:rotfl: Everything seems so small in the Studios park.

:scared1: HOW much bread did those people have?! Crazy!

I was sorry to hear that you didn't like Animagique as it's one of my favourites. While it's not as good as PhilharMagic, I think it has a whimsical charm. :)

I agree that WDS is a very small park but it's still relatively 'young'. If rumours are to be believed (a Ratatouille dark ride and Soarin' are supposedly on the way), then I think it has the potential to be a great park. :thumbsup2

aww I love Animagique, but I think that's because I love the theme music I can see what you say though, it's definitely a little weird! Haha the bread thing is definitely for Sandwiches, the amount people took when I was there was ridiculous too but people just used to make sandwiches, wrap it up and then go, the CMs just smile!!
That cars area is becoming an almost Pixar place at the moment, they're building a Toy Story land (ish) next door to it with loads of rides and such, it looks awesome! :thumbsup2

ooh, another fabulous update! I have to say, that bread with the nutella inside sounds delish! that Cars area looks so cute. I heard that they were going to bring more Cars attractions to WDW, but I don't know if that was a rumor. That Crush ride looks like fun too. Was it like a primeval whirl (from Ak) but with the turtle theming?

Dearest Snob- looking for tips and tricks and inspiration for a Mickey Head Countdown calendar, so I came to you! Got wrapped up in your TR, even tho the prospects of getting to DLP are slim to none...

I love the tower countdown...

I am planning a grand gathering of 10 people staying at OKW in November, in time to catch the VMCM, in a grand villa!!!! Want to make a countdown for my nieces...

Looking for ideas for the base, as well as: how do you stick them on, and do you number them? When do you like to start the actual countdown?

Would love to hear from you, and other dear readers who may have ideas!

Brrrrr, it looks so cold! I'm am still cold from sitting outside for a softball tourny this weekend and that snow makes me even more so! Great update! I'm surprised at how small that park is!

Welcome back! It will be so great to read about your recent adventures. Of course, I loved comparing all the differences between DLP and WDW with this update. I think I may have gasped a bit myself when I saw you Cinderella and Prince charming photo! What a perfect Disney moment.

I can't believe there was no line for Donald! :confused3

I like the princesses' winter dresses.

Hi, Emma!

DLP looks so pretty! I loved Ariel's winter dress.

I was listening to DIS Radio the other night, and the pre-show music for Anamagique came on. You're right; it IS really kinda creepy! It makes you wonder what goes on in those Imagineer's heads sometimes...

Yay, you're back! I liked the random sighting of the princesses with their princes. That sort of thing happens quite often at DLP. By the way, the Pirates line normally does have the flickering lamps. They must have been broken! If so, they should've closed it really- sounds dangerous. :scared1:

glad you are safely home and back on your TR!!! I missed it!!! Can't wait to read about your Dublin experiences also!!!
