With the Aug/Sept free dining, Disney does usually offer the FD to Visa card holders and then the general public. With the offer they extended from Oct-Dec last year, they extended it only to visa card holders. It was never offered to the general public.

The offer didn't come out until September last year. If they do it again (there's no guarantee that they will), you have plenty of time. Actually, my neighbor applied AFTER the deal was released last year, and she still got her card within a week and was able to book.

I think you have plenty of time. Approval shouldn't take long and I'd think you'd have your card in a couple weeks. Last years Disney Visa free dining was released in Sept.

Maybe its just wishful thinking on my part, but I would bet money that they will release a similar deal this year.

I am sure this has been asked a million times but - it is just random- we are booked with our disney visa for 12/9-12/19 at ASMu - do we have any chance off getting anything?

Our FD e-mail came through this morning at 2:39 a.m. EST (???) so I think they are being staggered out, for whatever reason.
We booked our 2 rooms this evening for Dec. 14-21st!

Congrats!! I am so happy you got one!!!! That makes the trip sooo much sweeter.

Does anyone know how Disney decides to send pin codes? I have been a frequent visitor and am registered with them but have never gotten a code. I think I am just jealous of everyone else is getting free dining when I am there. But yeah! for everyone else.

I'm patiently waiting myself for this pin code. I can't figure out how to get a code, either. I've been to Disney World for over 30 years, now. We have a lot of trips under our belt, too. I was lucky last year with the Disney Visa offer for wintertime; so, I'm hopeful this offer may go more publuc. The latest fall offer for free dining has been extended until the end of July; so, we may have to wait for that to end before we see any other public offer for free dining for the rest of the year.

I did what one poster suggested and I was playing around with vacation dates around two days ago and pricing on line and saving my options hoping this would generate an e-mail, but it hasn't so far. This poster said it happened to her right after she had done this. I'm doing all I can to get one.

I'm always happy for someone to get a good deal going to Disney; it's the only way we can do it. So, here I wait and hope.

When I called and asked the cast member to see if there was a pin attached to my name she said the system was prompting her to ask me how many times I have visited Disney. Could this determine whether I get a code or not?

Really?! We didn't go last year, but since we have a Disney Visa, I was looking at last year's info to plan our trip this year. All the info I found for 2008 had travel dates of 9/28-10/11, 11/9-11/22, and 12/14-12/20 for Disney Visa free checking. I'm surprised a deal like this was offered over Christmas.

We got it too, We checked in on the 20th and had FD for our entire stay, we left 12/26. We were at the WL.

I wish I knew!!! We go a few times a year and have been for quite some time but have never gotten a PIN code. We have friends that go about as often as we do and they got a PIN once. I think it is one of the great mysteries of the world.

Last Year started on Sunday, 12-14. At least the last bit of it did. I know that because we booked the same week this year with our fingers (and toes) crossed.

i JUST FOUND A PIN CODE....But it is going to my "extra" email account and it is in my MIL's name??? that is so strange.....we booked a disney cruise for her using this address, but she would NEVER use pin codes, how do i get this in MY name?? or does it matter?? same last name...I hate not to be able to use them since it MY account not, hers!! anyone??

Just wanted to let eveyone that's goin in Dec know I finally booked today!!!! We are 5th-13th. We are hoping for some really good discounts!!! I am gonna be picking a ticker this weekend....let the countdown begin! We booked CR Tower--theme park view!! I need to call and request an upper level floor--I am super excited!!!
