i have called 3 times since 7am, and all three times been told no GP discount they can give me and to check website for special offers, !!!! asked where should i look and she advsd the website..anyone know any thing else

I need a room only code. We just can't make the DDP work for us. So today's general public code for packages does me no good.

I'm completely confused now. Did the codes come out for the MYW packages to the general public? I thought Visa members get it first. I don't see any codes anywhere except mousesavers, but they are for select dates. What about those going in between like me?

October-December Discounted Package
You can get a specially priced package at select Walt Disney World resorts most nights 9/28/08-11/25/08, 11/29/08-12/3/08 and 12/13/08-12/23/08. This time period includes Value, Regular and Holiday seasons, so rates will vary widely depending on your dates.

Examples: purchase a 5-night/6-day Magic Your Way package (accommodations for 5 nights and a 6-day Magic Your Way Base Ticket) for just:

$49 per person, per day for a family of four (2 Adults, 1 Junior, 1 Child) in a standard room at a select Disney Value Resort (total package price is $1,168) in Value season

$94 per person, per day for a family of four (2 Adults, 1 Junior, 1 Child) in a studio at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa or Disney’s Old Key West Resort (total package price is $2,236) in Value season

Other lengths of stay resorts, room types and seasons are available at varying prices.

With this offer, you can book a regular Magic Your Way Package, a Magic Your Way Package Plus Dining or a Magic Your Way Package Plus Deluxe Dining. You can also add on the Wine & Dine Plan.

The room rate is discounted. The dining plans and wine plans are added on at regular prices.

Book by 9/24/08. 3-night minimum stay. The number of rooms allocated for this offer is limited. Tickets must be used within 14 days of first use unless you add the No Expiration option for an extra cost. No group rates or other discounts apply.

Yes, this is a general public code an it's only on packages. I pulled the info from Mousesavers.com

The Disney Visa rewards site that PrincessSuzanne posted back on page 60 still has the fall discount listed on it.

I really thought I would at least get some jump on the crowd before the general public codes were released. Oh well.

My entire stay was blacked out December 2-8. How disappointing after waking up at 5:30am for 4 mornings straight.

Boy am I glad I decided to join our AAA for this year, eventhough I don't drive nor own a car. So far the only AP rates both me and our TA have dragged up are saving us less than our AAA-rate is. Woohoo for spending that $50,- on joining them!

I just called for both ours and my parents ressies.

We had CBR 11/28-12/5 6 day park hopper preferred room w/ dining for $3685.20, we now have CBR 6 day park hopper standard room w/ dining for $3098.00. I'm bummed that we had to switch to a standard room, but I'll keep checking and hopefully will get my preferred room back.

My parents had CBR 11/28-12/5 6 day park hopper kingroom w/ dining for $2592.98, they now have CBR 11/28-12/5 6 day park hopper king room w/ dining for $2140.78.

How many people are in your party? I ask because these are our exact same dates but right now we are at POP and am considering switching to CBR. I have our resy with two adults and three kids although the two youngest are 2 & 1. My parents are by themselves. Thanks

We are going the exact same dates and when I called she said it took the discount for the entire trip!! Saved us a little over $700! We are doing happy dance here!

That explains why your rate would be higher then, you have two kids you are paying for vs one for us. I wonder where the discount is for your parents though... I had my AAA agent look at resy's at CBR last week and my parents came back $30 cheaper than what yours did with the discount this morning. I wonder I won't be saving hardly any money because the GP discount only applies from 11/29-12/3 during our stay.
