I know eh! Definitely would make it ten times better for us! We are in a TIGHT budget from here on out!

I haven't gotten emails. I am signed up to as many websites as I can, and have ordered the vacation dvd and such.

I just want free dining so bad. ACK!

Thanks and I'll do the same!! I hear you on a tight budget...we are too, especially since it's near the holidays. Our trip and is bought and paid for but it would be that little extra money we could use to spend in Disney, you know?

Does anyone have a code that will work for 12/7-14th? Other than QXD...cause that's not working. Thanks!!

The reason QXD doesn't work for those dates is beacause they are blacked out due to the Pop Warner crowds and the fact that the resorts are full for those dates. Disney usually only sends out those code and pin codes for dates when they need to fill resort rooms.

I used DGL( no dining ) for 6-1 4 and after persistent calling ( 1 week or more) I hit jackpot on a preferred room at POP and it took the code!

Seems like a lot of controversy over the codes. Which Im sure Disney wants. A DIS friend has received the QXG code for CSR (she was schedules at Pop) for dec 6-12. It's really gamblers luck. They are available...just rare.

I'm new to this whole thing and need help. DH and I want to stay at either the Swan or Dolphin. Does anyone know if these codes will work? We're going from 12/18-12/22/08. Thanks!

I got a Free Dining Code as well, but mine was for dates ending 10/11, I didn't know that there were codes with Free Dining in Dec. I better go and read mine again.

So I just called to check up on rate code QXG for CSR. Of course, nada. Then all of a sudden she said she got me the rate code! Then confirmed for Dec 20-26th. Uhhh nope. Dec 6th-12th. Was on the hold for a very long time. She said she got it fixed up (in a nut shell). Got the email confirmation about an hour later and it states Dec 6-26th with qxg at a total cost of $1558!! Of course, i laughed and called the reservation center. She told me something about if she could change the system she would. I was confused, but she said the reservation showed me Dec 6-12th at $1658.

Does this story sound right? SHould I question anything or am I good? Seems like every rep is different and that drives me bonkers!

I love CSR, but even sweeter at $100 less!!

Package discount for Disney Rewards® Visa® Cardholders for check-in dates 10/21/07-12/15/07 was made available 9/27/07, exp 10/20/07

Does anyone think they will be anouncing any VISA discount later this month?? Are our chances good?? lol

We're going 12/08-12/12 but it seems like Disney is not having any difficulty filling their resorts. Darn it! lol

OH MY! We had the same thing happen to us. I have no clue what the CM did to our ressie but at one point we were booked from 12/2-12/26 for less than $1800.(with DDP) She really had no clue, when we called back she said she had fixed it but still put in the wrong dates (she put us in for the next week) Soooo had to call again and we got it all fixed. It was just a hassle and a mess.

(we're booked 12/2-9 2009) If I can get a discount of 30-40% in November instead of December, I'd gladly give up seeing the holiday decorations and move my trip to November. We're staying at Poly so a 30-40% discount would be worth it for me to give up seeing the World decorated!

AND if you get a discount code/pin...will they apply it to your current reservation or does a room have to be available to REBOOK in order to get that discount?

If you get a pin code or any discount code you can just add it to your exisiting reservation. I don't know about past offers in early December, but early December seems to be pretty blacked out this year. But since your trip isnt' for another 15 months, who knows what kinds of codes or offers they will have by then.

Also, if you moved your trip to November, you wouldn't be missing the Christmas decorations, as they start putting them up about three days after Halloween (sad, but true) and the first MVMCP is November 11 this year..

I believe that DGL can only be applied to a package with NO Dining Package. Anybody is welcome to correct me if I am wrong though.

I saved $300 at a value hotel on a stay from 11/30 to 12/8. I did have to switch from Pop to ASMu. If I figured it correctly, that puts my room rate at $49 per night.

Was just able to use the QXG rate code for FORT WILDERNESS CABINS for Dec 6-12. Might be able to use dates outside of this as well.

We are staying at CSR and have no desire to be in the Cabins, but just in case someone else can use it... it's available right now!!

That's good to know. I really REALLY want the Poly (or any monorail hotel since we have 2 toddlers) however the Cabins with the extra space sound nice. I just think the actual property (Ft Wilderness) seems so drawn out and hard to get around.....I want CONVENIENCE!

Just to give you an idea. For 2 adult, a 3 and 2 yr old. 7 day base tickets without dining or anything, the price is 2020.48 for the Cabins. (6 nights)

I would love to go up to delux for the monorail, but just cant afford it this time around. We are doing well to get moderate. Plus the CSR is GREAT! I highly recommend it if you are on a budget. They are getting queen beds, has a spa, gym, sit down restaurant. 3 (or 4) seperate bus stops. The only bummer is that it doesn't have monorail. However, my kids will love the bus since they have never been on one before and they love new adventures. (mind you they have never been on a monorail neither! The closest one to us would be either Toronto or NYC lol)

Not as quick as the monorail, but I'm pretty sure that you can take a boat to MK from Fort Wilderness...
