I know, so exciting!! lol I've never been there before, will we be receiving any more documents in the mail? Like regarding our hotel or tickets?

You must be getting so excited. Congrats on your first trip. You will have a BLAST. I am not sure if you will receive anything else in the mail. We book our vaca through dvc and use the magical express so that is all we will get. Have an AWESOME time.

I am so jealous of the packet-recip's. Mine will be coming soon, but not soon enough! 42 days for me... in exactly 6 weeks I will be arriving in Orlando!

It's getting closer!! Woohoo! I agree that I'm torn as well about wishing it already was time to go and loving the anticipation The funnest part is the last week, I think. Knowing it's getting closer but that last week just drags and drags. We arrive on Dec 13th and stay 8 days

Pookie Lee - looks like we will be there the same time. We're staying at BWV with boardwalk view so if you happen along the boardwalk and see us on the balcony, wave hi!! (there will be Christmas lights and a big lime green Mickey cutout on our window)

31 days and counting...home sick from work for the week...After having gallbladder surgery so i will be waiting all week for the call from the TA that our paper work is there. ME came last thursday!

37 days until our WDW vacation. I made our reservations last November so it seems like it is taking forever to get here. My DH and I are doing our first split stay--the Poly (first time) and the AKL (our favorite).

I got mine yesterday too! I thought the park tickets were included in this mailing. When are you supposed to get them?

If you booked a package deal through Disney then your tickets will be your room keys. You'll get them when you check in.

We are leaving for FL on December 4th and then headed to POR on the 7th. I can't believe it is already almost here!! With Thanksgiving the week before time is just going to fly by!

Does anyone have tips on what to take for the weather. I'm assuming short and tees for the day and lightweight jackets for the evening....

I've been waiting for this trip for so long that I can't believe my paid in full date is in 2 days. We thankfully have it paid off finally and thankfully wew are able to go, it got hairy for awhile there. We have 46 days till we leave and 47 days till we arrive in FL. I am so excited I can't even stand it anymore. I feel like a big kid its all I can talk about.

We have learned from previous December trips to be prepared for hot and cold weather. You really need to dress in layers. We have worn shorts on some days and winter coats and mittens on other days.

We're going at the same time. We were hoping for some last minute deals, but it seems that all of the discounts end on the 6th and start back up on the 13th. We even looked at changing resorts, but according to the good folks handling reservations, the whole park is booked solid. What gives? I thought it was supposed to be slow the first two weeks in December.

This will prob. be our last yr going the first week of Dec. We have gone the last 5 yrs and the first 3 were perfect. Then with the pop warner and other things going on it started to become more crowded.
