December 2008 2008 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Cancelled

I had no idea when we started booking our ADRs that Le Cellier would be sold out for the whole WEEK!
But 3 months later after lots of calls and posts...I finally was able to get it!

Just a little motivational speech for everyone who is still looking for ADRs!
If you keep calling and checking here you may just get what you need!!!!

I'm having the same problem, Le Cellier is totally booked for Nov 29 to Dec 7th but I am just going to keep calling
(I need Nov 30th, party of 2 anytime after 6pm)

Also wanted to get Fantasmic package at H&V for Dec 2
(I have a non fantasmic package at H&V booked for 5:25pm)

After following this thread for awhile, I am unsubscribing.

I was hoping for a LTT reservation for 12/7 before MVMCP, but it never came through. Instead I did get a reservation for Kona Cafe at 5:20, before the start of the party. That is the best that I could hope for, and this is a dinner that we have never done before. So keep posting and keep calling. Something is bound to come through for all.

just an experiment.. what if we used a google spreadsheet that is open for editing? I threw one together to see how it goes. This one is just for 12/1-12/16 to experiment. I can add the rest of the month if people like it.

Instructions:
go to this link spreadsheet
Enter the restaurant, time, and your username all in one cell under either wanted or available for the relevant date.

For example, if I have an ADR for 5 at Ohana's available for trade on 12/2, I would type the following in one cell under 12/2:
"Ohana's 12:15 (5) want to trade for CM bkfst 12/1 TanaL"

Type quickly and then hit "save and close" and re-open to make sure it saved properly. You don't want to have it open for a really long time and then type and save... I'm not sure how it will handle multiple entries at once.

I was just adding something and noticed that when someone else is editing at the same time, the square they are editing turns dark grey. When they are done editing, their changes pop up right on my screen. So it's ok for 2 people to be in the spreadsheet at once, pretty cool.

I have been trying to upgrade for over a month (for those same dates) and it has been sold out solid!
