December 2008 2008 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Cancelled

I have several ADR's that I need to reduce our party size by 2. Will they make me cancel the whole thing or can they just reduce it? It was originally a party of 11. I am curious because (for example) our Le Cellier ressie is for 11, but they put us at tables of 8 and 3. How would that work out?

You should be able to just cancel the party of 8 When is it for? I may be interested!

Since you are going from 11 to 9, I suggest keeping your ADRs as they are. I think it would be hard to duplicate all of them as this date.

We have had a smaller number appear for dinner due to illness and it has never effected our ability to be seated...especially since you are going to a lower number rather than trying to add to the party.

Even with the split tables, they do their best to seat you altogether. But if they cannot, they will split as needed (ie table of 4 & table of 5).

Glad you caught that.....I thought you were just trying to be funny!

I think we will just leave it alone. We will now be a family of 4 and a family of 5 so maybe it will work out better seating wise anyway. They originally had us at a table for 8 and a table for 3. Weird

When I booked I thought the fireworks would be at 7pm, but of course not, there at 8pm.

I wouldn't worry to much if you don't get different time. I normally allow 2 hrs. to eat at CG, so they may be done with dinner at 7:45. That's just 15 min. until fireworks. They can sit at the bar or go outside and grab a good spot along the rail.

Your cousin and hubby can also arrive a "little" late for their 5:45 ADR and then linger over dessert. I wouldn't worry about changing either.

Help! Anyone have CM ADR's you want to trade wk of 12/6-12/13? Looking for party of 9 but willing to split into 2 tables of 4 & 5 for the following dates (in order of preference):

12/7 dinner -- early pref (we have to be at Contemporary marina @ 7:45pm for fireworks cruise)
12/10 breakfast
12/12 anytime breakfast or dinner
12/9 dinner -- early pref (going to MVMCP)
12/8 dinner

My TA is about to cancel CM ADR for 9 (1 table) for 12/7 at 8:00pm. Also I have Spoodles on 12/12 at 5:15 for 9 people (1 table) that is available for trade.
