December 2007 Code Watch

Well everyone, Thank you!!
I just got off the phone with WDW and changed my ressies.
We were at ASMo Dec9-19th with dining and six day tix for 2 adults and 2 children at a cost of $2441.91. Our second room was for the same days etc but for 3 adults at a cost of $3013.
They were not able to apply the code to our ASMo ressies but did have availability at Pop for the same dates etc.
We made the switch and saved $370!! on our first room and $508.61!! on our second room! That makes a grand total of $878.39!! Woohooo!!!!!!

has anyone revceived discounts for the family suites at all star music? the cm I spoke to said they don't apply to the family suites at all. Has anybody had better luck?

We are booked right now at ASMu. We have two rooms, one with two adults (my son and dil), the other dh, other ds and me. We had to get a one day pass as the only code available was for a package. So five nights at a value, one day admission for each of us. One room $494 (with three of us) other is $421 for ds and dil. This was almost $200 savings per room.

Our dd will be arriving for the WDW College Program in two weeks and we are hoping to be able to book a room only with her, but for now, this is a really good deal!!!!

So, can't wait to see Disney in December (before the mad rush).

All I can say is.................

KEEP TRYING!!!!!!!!!!!!

I managed to snag the WL courtyard view AP discount for our trip this morning :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Oh as a tip.... check on availability online using your AP then call. Once I had the dates I needed I called and it worked like a charm :wizard:

So excited!!!!!!!! The WL in December it is going to be awesome

I saved $300 at BWI deluxe for 12/14-12/20. Didn't seem like much but I'll take every little bit! :rotfl2:

hello, hoping those who have went to Disney in December could answer a few questions for me....:)
The week after Christmas are the decorations still up in the resorts and parks??
Is it pretty packed(busy) in between Christmas and New Years. This is the time I'm trying to talk DH into going back since the kiddies will be out of school that week!!;)
What resorts between mods and values would be my best bet for that time, any suggestions? any codes or rates for this time? :confused3
Thank ahead of time!:)

I don't know how much the codes will help for the week between Christmas and New Years. That's the most expensive time to visit WDW. If this is your first trip, don't go this week. It's the busiest week of the entire year.

The decorations go up around Thanksgiving and stay up at least through New Year's.

Pretty packed and busy would be a very large understatement for Christmas through New Years. Mobbed would work better. Usually there are no discounts, because they do not need them for that time of year.

Hmmm, doesn't sound to good. We've went to Disney plenty of times, just not at Christmas time, I've always wanted to see the Christmas lights and such.
I wish there was another time, but between DH schedule and the kids school, it would be about the only time we could go back for quite awhile.
IWe could probably go the weekend before Christmas, but then we would only have 2-3 days compared to 5-6.......
I appreciate all the info!

I've been there 4 times in Dec (last time was in 06).
I was checking the FL Res discount on the Disney site, but the only Deluxe showing rooms is the A.K.L. for $170 pool view.

      Thanks to all of you that kept saying to NOT give up!! Just this morning I was able to get a CV at the WL with the FL resident code:thumbsup2 I feel guilty for changing this reservation 3 times but this time is the last! We ended up not being able to save any money due to having a standard view @ rack rate but we did end up with a better view for the same amount of money so NO complaints here!! Good Luck to everyone out there still trying to get their room/code. Definitely keep trying!! One more thing...as of last night at 9:50 pm eastern time this room was NOT available for my exact dates then this morning at 8 am it was. So that just goes to show that they are opening things up all the time or there are cancelations either way, KEEP CALLING!!!!!!!!!:)

Hi there:

Good for you... What dates were you able to get the WL for?

Mark

We are at POR Dec 14-21 at $118 with tax and a $50 dining card. I think CRO used my AP for the rate.

Did we do well or is there a better deal?

Thanks, April

How much was it per night?
Did you also get the dining coupon?
OMG...I totally forgot to ask about the dining card!! But the per night was $210. Thanks for asking about the dining card I will call there NOW and ask about that. I'm sure it will be eligible because we had the $50 one for the FQ for the same dates.

I also had the AP rate at POFQ @ $105 per night plus tax. I personally have not found a better rate for a MOD.

I called a few minutes ago and was told the FET code dining coupons where $20 value, $50 mod, $75 delx, $100 dvv.

The person checked using that code for the night Dec 14-17 and said that NOTHING was avaliable but the All Stars.
Then we tried the FES code (without dining coupon) and still nothing.

Which doesn't make sense because using the on-line booking system I show the Mods being $110 std and $125 water, with the AKL being $155 sts and $170 pool.
(no WL avaliability).

We can't spend too much on this trip, because we're taking that 15-day cruise in May.
