called today they say I can't get the code..would cost $100+ I assume it is b/c of the new 2008 rate changes. Why or how can they apply the 2008 rates to my 2007 paid in full ressie????!!!!????!!!

Anyone know if this has been changed? I heard (on this board) some have emailed disney about this prob.

I am curious if you use the code for dining...does the discount take off some of the dining price. If I can't get the discount for my package, I may upgrade to dining if I can get the dining cheaper!

Hubby and I are staying at the WL. We have a courtyard view room with the dining plan from Nov. 25th-30th. I called and used the ZQH code and saved $270.00!! Not as much as some of you. But I am very pleased with the savings.

I called this morning too, it wasn't available for our dates (December 14-16). But, I am still very happy, we still have the $49 a night room only rate.

Using code ZQH, I got AKL Dec 15-18 standard room, 3 day hoppers without water parks, with dining for 2389.60

and got AKL conceige Dec 19-21, one day hopper with dining for 1884.46.

If you look at my signature, my new reservations are a lot better than the older ones and only paid slightly more for the updrades!

Oh, yeah this is for 2 adults, and 2 kids, 11 and 12

My sister and I are taking a trip with my 2 kids Dec. 7-13, we had to change from POP to All Star Music, but we will only be there to sleep so no biggie, we had a separate reservation for Friday then a standard room during the stay but saved close to $400. Works for me! I am not sure what code she got, but I think it was ZQH. She was on the phone for a long time and the first time she called it could not be done, this CM was very helpful. Here is my problem now, I teach 2nd grade in Kansas and 2 of my students will be there the same time I am...had not planned on saying where I would be (I am taking my personal days) but now I think I might have too...maybe they will get Extra Credit if they find me to ride Everest!!

Last time we were at Disney was April 2006. Friends of ours were going to be there but we werent staying at the same resort as their children are older than ours we didnt plan on meeting up as the older kids wouldnt want to wait at Winnie the Pooh ride. So we never made plans. Thinking we'd never see each other anyways we left it at that. Well getting in the line up to watch the parade.. guess who we ran into. I said it would never have worked out any better if we had planned it. So you may run into them even if you dont tell them where you're staying. Chances are slim but its still possible.

Well I called the TA after not hearing anything. i was told it did drop a bit more then 200$. He said he sent it to me but have not received anything yet. So the 200$ is better then nothing. I thought I would have no savings or like 20$ but that was a good surprise after all!

We are at POR 12/18-26

I would think it's best not to say anything and if you would happen to run into a student, worry about it when the time comes. My fear for you would be that if you say something about where you're going, you could be forever known as "the teacher who skipped school to go to Disney" I know that last year my son's teacher took some time off to do some teaching in Peru, and there were parents who weren't too happy about it (I saw nothing wrong with it, but hey..) anyway...I can just imagine how upset they'd have been if it's Disney. They're your personal days and you have the right to use them however you wish, but I think it would be easier in you if nobody knew where you are going.

Originally we had 2 adults, 2 kids (9 & 7) at Pop from 12/8 -12/14, with dining and park hopper tickets, total with the airfare of 3157. Just heard back from the TA, they got the discount at pop, still with preferred room too, and all the rest exactly as we wanted, for 2927, saving of $230. We were $200 away from having the trip paid off, so now we have a credit coming back and we are paid in full!

I am a third grade teacher and in our school district, we are not allowed to go out of town for our time off. We have 10 sick days, but two can be used for personal days, for things that can't be done outside of school time. One of our teachers took a sick day because her son was sick. During that day, she had her mom babysit while she went to the gym. Someone saw her there and she got in BIG trouble! Personally, I wouldn't feel good about that all. Unfortunately, teachers have to vacation when all the kids do. Or feel guilty sneaking around!

well our TA sent me an email today and she says she cant apply the code anywhere and that she's getting a much higher price to upgrade. On top of that when we first made our reservations with the company and paid down more than half. We were told you have to pay the full amount 45 days before you leave at the latest. Which was fine.. Now she's saying we have to pay by Nov.1. which I know is only 8 days or so beforehand but its the principle of what they told us to begin with. OH well it'll be paid off before then anyways. Kinda bummed tho that we cant apply the code to our holiday.

Got the code discount of $273 on top of AAA package discount!

Not free dining big savings but enough I can offset for that Illuminations cruise I want!

Tried again this morning for the AP discount at either the WL or Poly and again nada. The thing that really makes me is that they do have rooms available but won't apply the AP discount.

I'm getting closer to staying offsite again They keep saying so you want to book the rack rate??? Not in this lifetime thank you!!!!!!

Heard from a mamger friend that many weekends (Fri & Sat) nights are blocked for AP rates at some deluxe resorts. I know for sure WL was blocked for AP rates in early December. CR was available for Fri thru Tuesday as of a few days ago.

AP rates are very limited this year...and while I am happy for those who received the dining card, it is only for specific arrival dates, so many others are left out - no AP rate and no dining card or check-in one day earlier and no dining card applies.

It can be pretty confusing and frustrating.Check-in dates are the key this year. We got 2 of our ngts (with a dining card for $75), but impossible to get the other two as the ngts are blocked, so must hope for a AAA to open up (due to a cancelation) or switch to CR or a mod - of course, CR was no longer available next time we checked.

That's the way it goes this year!

Just letting everyone know as of yesterday at 500pm the zqh code was valid at the cont. garden view rooms.
