Digman, we are going on similar dates and this is what I got.

19th - $59
20 - 22 - $79
23 - $129 (Full price no discount)

I'm guessing after the 23rd there is no discount since it is right at Christmas. You might get value for the 18th and 19th and then you would pay a discount on holiday season up until the 23rd.

When I checked the reservation online to confirm, it doesn't show the "Magic Your Way Package plus Dining" that was on the previous reservation, when I called to ask about it they said not to worry, it's there. Should I be worried?

The same thing happened to me. When I called to apply the code to my ressie, the Magic Your Way Package Plus Dining didn't show on the reservation anymore. She reassured me 3 times that it shows up on their end, but I will definitely be calling back once their computer system settles down maybe in the next several weeks to double check.

I'm sure everything is fine, though!

It is true that your 8 nights at a value rate will change to 2 nights value rate + 6 nights holiday rate if you apply the code. However, you still have a chance to come out on top (maybe not by much, but savings is savings).

I got about $240 savings on my POFQ package for similar travel dates.

Discount Type: Disney Visa ZQL (should be the same savings as GP code)
Resort: POFQ Standard Room
Party: 2 Adults
Dates: December 17 - 26 (9 nights)
Tickets: 9 Day MYW + Park Hopper (no waterparks)
Dining: No
Travel Insurance: Yes
Original Rack Rate Price: $2127.22 (all nights @ value season rate)
New Total Price $1886.38 (w/ discount, 3 nights @ value season rate + 6 nights @ holiday season rate)
Savings: $240.84

HTH. Your savings might be a little less because I imagine most of my savings comes from my first 3 value season nights which is then somewhat negated by my later 6 holiday rate nights (which were previously also value season in the original package). But there's still hope for you to save some money (just maybe not as much as you had hoped).

Can someone send me a number to a TA who has been successful at getting either Discount through on Pop? Ill book through them if need be.

Right now I think it's luck of the draw, not the TA. My TA told me that with the computers going up and down and with so many people switching and upgrading it's really nuts. POP doesn't seem to have much availability anyway, but she's going to keep checking for me over this next week.

I really don't know how my TA did it. I booked a ressie almost a year ago for this Dec. from 4-11 at Pop. She also knew that I was waiting for an AP rate. Who knew that it would come out yesterday - maybe TA's did.

It's my first time working with a TA and I was worried that I wouldn't get the AP rate. I even called CRO myself abut booking a new ressie at Pop on an AP rate. But no go. Nothing doing. Sounded like nobody was getting anywhere with Pop.

So today I get an email that she's at Disney on vacaction but she got all her AP ressies switched over to an AP rate. How'd she do that? My guess is that TA's have a tiny bit of a "heads up" "it's coming" and that they have a special website and/or phone number. I would also guess that all of their ressies are somehow together so they can make one switch to a new code. Otherwise, that would be alot of typing or calling if you had several hundred ressies.

Sad to report that we do not get any discount. We are at AKL from Dec.16-19 and POR from 19-29 and we would have ended up paying over $100 more with the code. The CM even got someone from Guest Relations to make sure it was correct and I guess if you apply a code the 2008 rates per day apply. I waited so long for a code and such disappointment. Goodluck to the rest of you on getting discounts.

Its not looking good for us either. TA sent me an email this morning that when she got into work she'd see what she could get us. She hasnt contacted me yet to tell me what she found out. Well they say no news is good news, hopefully this will come true. Good Luck everyone with codes.

Just curious how you were able to save???!!!???!! My ressie is for Dec 15-22 and my price was going up 100+

I really don'tknow how. My TA just sent me an email saying we had saved a total of $648.36 total on our 2 rooms. Then she gave me a new total for each room-(Ours and our Sons).

After 2 hrs on the phone this morning (1.25 on hold) I booked a Magic Your Way + Dining Package at Coronado Springs Resort for 12/14-12/21. We were able to get 3 water view rooms using the discount code released this morning. Our total savings was $1095!

I don't know if this was asked but what is the actual discount? I mean is it room only or package. I am just curious. I saved 324.00 today, using the code, but the CM couldn't tell me what the discount was. Since I have booked MYW + dining and also my air with them it was hard to see what the actual discount was.

Wahoo I just saved $300 on our one room and booked everything. Perviously I just had room booked. Yeah I am excited to go to bad its soooooooooooooooooooooo far away.

Yippee,got AP discount for All Stars Dec 1st - 13th (original booking $1111.92 )The new total is $804.12...so well chuffed.

Sadly no discount for our 2 nights at AKL 13th - 15th Dec...did nobody get one for there??

Original Package:
CSR 8 nights, 9 day park hopper, dining plan $2589.26

New Package:
AKL Dec 1-5, 8 day park hopper, dining plan $1674.46
CSR Dec 5-9, 1 day base ticket, dining plan $807.21
Total $2481.67

Still saved $107.59 and upgraded to a deluxe for 4 nights. Now I get to kill two birds with one stone. These were the two resorts I was looking at when I booked the original package in April.

I just got off the phone with Disney CR and my CM was able to save me $383 on my ressie for POR from 12/15-12/22!!!

I was on hold for less than a minute and even with the computer upgrades going on today she was done in under 15 minutes! YAY!!!

Go back and read through the above posts, no one had an easy time with this. I had to call seven times and was on hold for over an hour. I have three trips planned an only one hadn't been given to my TA and I'll never do that again. Getting a code rate took hours and hours and many phone calls.

Orignally booked 2 Adults at POR for 12/9-12/16 with MYW 4 day base right at $1700.

Using ZQH (The code to add dining) - 2 Adults, 7 nights - 4-day base ticket -and dining package - $1750

That's right!!!!!!!! I told my hubby it's almost as if we are getting free dining. I figured a total of $480+ in savings!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those dates are similar to ours. I've been trying since nearly the minute the codes were released and for the deluxes I have found very little.

The Epcot area seems pretty wide open but other than that there's pretty much nothing available.

Not sure on the values or mods because we want a deluxe or will stay off property again.
