We will be at the POP from 12/8 to 12/14, and would love to get a good discount code or 2........who knows maybe we might even upgrade....to far out to tell yet though.......

We are looking around 11/25-12/3 or 4. Dates will be firm when Southwest releases rates. It will probably change to a Tues-Wed stay for their cheapest fares. Or a Wed-Sat stay. We found a week wasnt enough for us and 2 weeks was too much. Since we will need 2 rooms, I need a good discount! Enough where maybe I will consider getting an AP!

The offer is:

Disney Value Resort for only $57 per night, for 12/9/07 - 12/19/07, it's the 40% discount. I don't know if I try to book another resort they will give me the discount, since the offer only mention the value resorts.

I was able to get the 40% off for our room. By the time we realized brother and sister in law would be coming along, it was too late to attach it to their room. So now we are on the hunt. We'll be staying at POR from the 18th-26th. My TA is also hunting and watching for anything to come out for me. With 2 sets of eyes on the boards, hopefully I'll get something on the second room.

December 8 - 16th now have AAA room only discount. Looking to switch to a package if something decent comes out.

It depends on which week you go. The week of 12/16-12/23 will be crowded and get more crowded as the week progresses toward the weekend of 12/21-12/23. The week of 12/23-12/31 will make the earlier week look like a walk in the "theme park".

In all seriousness, the week between Christmas to New Year's is the most crowded of the year. And it gets more crowded the closer you get to New Year's. The week before Christmas is probably on par with Easter week and it gets more crowded as the week progresses toward Christmas Day. We have been the week before and the week between on several occasions with the between week the one we have been the most often. It is bearable, just remember, you can't do it all and see it all and you WILL spend a lot of time in lines waiting, but it is the most special time of the year at Disney. There really is no other time like it.

Did you get any kind of discount? I called to price AKL in early Dec and all of the standard and pool view rooms are booked!!! I've been hoping for a code and then was going to book standard. I can't believe it! This is much worse than LeCellier being booked solid my entire trip in August!
