No. I called one guy, and he was going to just put the code through (I said I had found the code, and wanted to use it), but I told him I had to think about it. The next lady that I got said I couldn't use the code because I didn't have a pin code attached to my name.

I just tried booking the CR MK view with the code for Dec 14-15 and it was sold out as well. I settled for Bay View -- hey I'm still in the Tower!!! Maybe it will be romantic for DH and I on the balcony? lmao!!!

Well, we've got a couple complications (we need a handicapped room w/2Q beds), and we've got it all set up (11th floor handicapped room w/2QBs and a MK view!), so we're wondering if it's really worth all the hassle trying to use the discount and go through the horrors that is trying to find a handicapped accessible room with a view.

Disney is like that about EVERYTHING. We've been struggling to find a handicapped room with a MK view for 3 weeks now! Every cast member has a different answer to every single question we have.

Has anyone else gotten the dates that this code is available for? I can see Thanksgiving week being blacked out , but why the week after?

I read where someone said they seem to match up with the Magical Weeks of Disney? Not sure as I did not look into it, but I did read that on one of these threads. We were able to use the code to book three days prior to our DVC reservation, December 13-16th. We wanted a deluxe room at the Wilderness Lodge (there are six of us in the family), but the Wilderness Lodge had no availability. So we went with a deluxe room at the BWI, what a sacrifice (that's what I wanted actually, the boys wanted the WL). We did book a package with dining.

Also... Pop Warner week begins on Dec 1st and even though they usually take up the AS and POR, alot of families will stay at the Mods and the Deluxe properties also...

It's also the time when they tape the Xmas Parade - which gets crowded and also, it's gotten much more crowded - not the Xmas weeks of course - with the Xmas decorations and such than it had been - it's not so much a value season anymore...

I just called CRO & spoke with a very nice man. I asked for POP for 5 nights starting 12/10 w/5 day hoppers and dining for 2 adults & one child. He quoted me $1661.36--the exact figure I got when I checked at disneyworld.com--okay.

I then ask if I am available for any discounted rates, that I have heard about codes and discounts. He says "let me check." This takes a few minutes. He comes back & says he found one, "now lets see if I can apply it." Then, "yes, it went through. The amount is $1474.96." I say okay, I'll take it. I asked if this was "some kind of pin attached to my name," & he tells me no, that those are mailed out to special people they are marketing. Oh, okay. He never says what code he used. I don't specifically ask.

He also tells me that if any thing else is released in the future, I can call back & apply a different discount if it is better.

So, I ask him to give me a quote on Wilderness Lodge. Nothing available with the discount, but he can get AK, so I say go ahead. He quotes me $2041.86 for pool view--for the same as above w/POP, same dates, days, everything. I ask him to knock off one day (still keeping 5 day hoppers) & he quotes me $1784.13--when you subtract about $90 for a day less of dining, that comes to about $166/night, right? That's good, no?

Now to talk to DH & see what he thinks. I took POP, have a confirmation number, but I might call back for AK... pool view, bunk beds (ds would love that) what's a girl to do?

Yes! It was not a public code - it was attached to my name in the system, similar to a postcard or email code.

Try booking before.....becasue I booked from Dec 17th - Dec31st at the 40% off rate at Value. I got 14 nights for 775!

Booked!!! Going 12/19-12/25. 2 adults and will be 3 DS staying at POR 7 days and 6 nights with Dining for a little over $1700. Mom called and booked 2 rooms at this price. She said she had tons of codes attached. She said the more you go the more they give...

I booked BWV for 19th to 26th December using the 40% code(which I got by using the link from this site. From England so probably zero hope of ever getting a pin code). 1 bedroom villa for $255, was told the usual rate was $450 for 19th and over $600 for 20th to 26th but because my first night was value rate I got this for the whole trip. This is a far better deal than I go for the same time last year using my annual pass. I simply called up asked for the rate and said I had a code. I didn't even mention pin numbers and the CM just applied it no problem.

I don't see anyone mentioning the GF in regard to the discount. We were there in Dec 06 but bounce back didn't apply to this resort, I'm guessing maybe nothing does. Is that right? Has anyone booked the/any discount at the Grand?

Got an email from Disney. For certain dates could get 40% off on Value Resort.

Here are the dates:
