AAA rate for POR Dec.3rd - 10th. I really hope a better deal comes along! I wouldn't mind upgrading to a Deluxe with a big discount. I'll keep watching!

Yes, I called to add the dining plan to our res (we will get it whether it is free or not), and the CM told me that if it was extended, we could apply it. Not sure about thru AAA or not...we booked directly with Disney.

We're going 11/30-12/3 AKL savannah and have a AAA rate right now of $265/nite, then over to the GF Main Bldg. Concierge for 4 nights in the Honeymoon suite for $582/nite both including tax. I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. Purchasing the AP gets me around $100 off the AKL, and the option to get the DDE card. Do they ever discount the suites with an AP? This would definately make my mind up to get the AP. Otherwise I am hoping for free dining too. Fingers crossed here!

I too am hoping for a code to come out. My wife and I got married at Sunset Pointe 10/29/02. It was an intimate wedding with just family(15 guest). The entire group is making the trip again this December for 10 days(12-2--12-11) and they'd love a discount. We have two additions to the group now....my wife and I have a beautiful future disney princess and my sister does also.
Here's hoping for a code. Wife, daughter, and I already got 50% off GF rate due to conceirge mess up during our honeymoon in 2002.

Still checking every day to see if the Free Dining has been extended. We'd love to go to the Hoop-dee-do show, but decided to wait until we find out about free dining. We can't afford it without it. I'm getting sooooo antsy waiting to see what kind of special comes out for December. I'm guessing they'll do something...

What is the Best Rate Passholder Program ? Currently the only discounts I can find are through AAA.

You can add a dining to your and room and have a package. You have to pay for the dining plan normally, and it costs around $30 a day for an adult. I'm not sure of the child price. It includes a counter-service meal with drink, entree, and dessert, a snack, and it also includes one sit-down meal a day. If you are going to do a lot of sitdown meals, it is a good deal. If you aren't, then the dining plan is probably not for you. We are not going to do it, because we are only going to do a handful of sitdown meals. They just had a promotion for dates in August-October where the dining plan is free. Obviously, that's a great deal. A lot of us are hoping they do the same thing in December.

Just wanted to stop by and say hello. Things have been a little slow around here... hope it's the calm before the storm of some new great deals (like free dining, of course! ).

By the way, the dining plan price for children (3 through 9) is $9.99, I think.

We are going Dec 18-26th. Have a package with the dining. After what we spent last time on food without one, it makes the most sense. We stayed offsite and I did alot of cooking, not this time!! The only thing I intend on doing is pouring milk for cereal in the morning. Other than that, we are planning on eating out. We have five kids, all have great appetites when we are busy in the parks. My oldest daughter who is an average eater normally, scoffed down a bacon double cheeseburger in Epcot and was looking for more food, so for us it will be worth it. I would love it if they had another free dining plan but I am not getting my hopes up. Gonna keep watching though!!
