December 15, 2012 A Yo-HO-HO-HO Holiday Fantasy!

Kevin......................Mr President....................Boss they are ganging up on me again!!!

Gimme the brain, gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme Marjorie the brain. I have to think this thing thru and can't do it without Marjorie. Hey wait a minute................................................why do we call OUR brain Marjorie any ways!!!!

Any who, I need the brain to help me sort all of this out. I thought we might either tie the toasters cord into a knot. Or, or, or, or, cut the toasters cord in two, then put some duck tape on both ends and then tape those ends back together so they don't look like they have been cut. What do you think boss? Good plan? Without Marjorie, I am completely lost here. (We got to change our brain's name!!!)

Ladies--
Can anyone explain to me why the men call their brains Marjorie?
Are they completely losing it?
or
Is it something I am just too young to understand? I mean after all, Kevin is older than me. (His birthday is next month so I have to start reminding him now)

Just stopping by to say, "hi". Excited for summer...it seems like the Holidays always sneak up on me pretty fast after the summer and that means Cruise Time! :boat::boat::boat:

Hi everyone! We just booked the cruise today so we're a little late joining the party, but it'll be me, my sister, and our mom and dad. We're so excited!

I don't know unless it is one of those new fangled things like Zero Gravity Boots. My question would be how do you put it on and take it off. :confused3:confused3:confused3 Maybe Sarge knows. Any ideas Sarge?

Kevin

Sorry to hear you are cancelling. You will be missed. Hope your Panama cruise is a GREAT one. Enjoy your selves.

Ok, now some actual cruise stuff. Has anyone started thinking about excursions for the cruise? While in San Juan, Donna and I plan to just walk around old San Juan on our own. You know get lost walking around, and then frantically running around trying to find our way back to the ship before it sets sail without us!!!:scared1: Then on St Thomas/St John we haven't a clue as yet. Anyone else have plans?:confused3 Ideas?:confused3 Just wondering!!

That is what I was thinking too Mr President, Kevin Sir. Great minds think alike!!!! I know Sarge probably has some great ideas on this. Trying to put that on would be next to impossible, and geting it off...................well............ IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE!!!! A guy would need some help!!! My luck it probably wouldn't come in my size!!!!:confused3

I think there is a group planning to go to the fort on thier own, we were thinking of doing that, too.

Question: is there a group still planning to go to the fort without Disney?

We haven't decided yet for St. Thomas. St. Thomas is going to be packed no matter what you do, since there are several mega ships in town that day. I'm sure since its right before Xmas, the shops will be insane, even more so than any regular cruise.

We're still planning to go to the forts (note plural) on our own in San Juan. As well as wondering around town- there are certain areas to avoid near Old Town and I have info on that.

We are doing the "My husband was raised going to National Parks on vacation so much my sil became a Park Ranger, I married into the family and now I am a national park enthusiast, too" historical tour.

Anyone that wants to join us can follow along at whatever pace we happen to be going on that day. National Parks have Junior Ranger packets that the kids can do to earn either a badge or patch depending on the park. (Think scavenger hunt for information)

We always take a long time at national parks and actually read the signs, plus we plan to stop and enjoy some local food for lunch.
With that warning/disclaimer, anyone is welcome to join us.

I will be bringing a big umbrella with me to act as a sunshade as I expect by this time both DD and I will be quite pink/red with sunburn.

I hope to find a really unique umbrella this summer so we will be easy to spot.

Check out the marker below, that ship is moving fast!!!

With the fact that there are a few other ships in port I am thinking I will be doing a Disney excursion for part of the day. Problem is picking just one as there are several that look really nice. Seems the Eastern excursions are much cheaper than the Western excursions as well.
Also thinking of going up the Skyride to Paradise Point for photos, but will not pre-book that in case of bad weather/no views.

If you don't mind tag-a-longs, that sounds like a great plan. We can go at pretty much any pace, we are pretty ADD ourselves and I do like to take the time to read the signs, LOL!

Please message me so we can coordinate as it gets closer if you don't mind company (and someone to take a family picture of your family with everyone in it:))

We are were thinking of doing the Skyride as well. It looks like you can get some very nice photos from up there. The last time we were there we saw this and wanted to do it then, but we simply ran out of time. So, we were thinking we would have to do it this time.

Like figmentnnemo, we would like to tag along as well. Donna and I like to take the time to really enjoy the sites and sounds of some place new. :idea:We all could hold hands and skip thru town. Just a suggestion. Skye what are the areas to avoid near Old Town? I haven't seen anything on this.
