Whew! We are back home, and laundry is nearly caught up!

We had a great time on the Dream. I LOOOOOOVED Remy! Not sure if we will do it again on the Fantasy but I hope to. High Tea was fun at Palo. I'm sad they are discontinuing it, but I did hear from Palo's manager that they may be moving HT to another venue.

It rained much of the time, but Saturday in CC was the most perfect weather we have had in our 4 trips there. It will be difficult to top it.

Loved catching up on the last few weeks!

Welcome back Amanda and family. Glad to hear you had a great time on the Dream. DW and I did a back2back on the Dream last September. We both knew either a 3 or 4 day cruise would not be long enough, so we booked the back2back. Sooooooooo glad we did. We plan to do that on the Dream again sometime soon. We didn't do the High Tea, but we did do the Brunch in Palo. The chef came out and talked to us and even posed for a picture with us, after we told our server how much we enjoyed one of his specialties. He was from Italy. We had brunch with two other couples, that day, really enjoyed that as well.

The Cruiser list is about updated and hopefully I can start getting it out by Monday or Tuesday. I am doing it in Word so that more can open it I hope. It will have all the cruisers on it and your FE group. I will try to keep it updated.
Life it catching up with me. My brother's girlfriend is having a major surgery July 2, I've been talked into teaching Vacation Bible School June 24-28(grades 4-7) and my brother is going to probably be gacing a major surgery as well this summer. He is going to the same person for his hearing loss and vertigo that I do at UVA in the next few weeks...And we have a garden in the middle of this. This is also a very busy time for me at work. Please pray I dont meet myself coming and going

Anyone familiar with the Epoct after 4PM Pass? I might consider getting that for this trip since I will be in FL for an extended visit around the cruise. There are some good spots for dinner in that park!


......heard some VERY close personal friends have reserved a verandah cabin on this cruise....waiting to hear today if it is a GO!.....I shiver with anticipation!

On a funny note- I am a flylady fan (www.flylady.net) Flylady has a free site that helps with keeping your house clean and organized.

She always has a holiday prep idea that is based on pretending you are taking a cruise around the holidays and has you preparing for this cruise so you can sit back and ejoy the holidays.

Well this year, we ARE taking a cruise so it will be especially fun to do my daily email assignments knowing it is a real cruise.

I'm mentioning it in case anyone else wants in on the fun.
(Fly lady sends out her reminders in emails-- she does not use the toaster method yet)

Funny, I have never met anyone else who had even heard of her, I give her full credit for helping me become the "proper" homemaker" I didn't know a whole lot about keeping a home when I got married (at 19) and Flylady was my saving grace!! That was almost 20 years ago and I still use her tips and tricks when life gets busy, maybe I'll have to revisit the site, haven't been there in ages...


Anyone starting their cruise box yet? I use a wicker laundry hamper and put things in as the days get closer

OK, so I'm a little concerned that because I'm traveling only with my 15 DD(who I'm sure will spend the majority of the cruise in Vibe just like last time) that I will be left with nothing to do as a solo cruiser. Does anyone know if there are other ladies traveling solo in our group???

I am traveling with 2 18 year olds and Mom who is 77...I am solo without anyone my age. So I guess I am in this category!!

Hi everyone.

Just to let everyone know...I tried to catch up and get everyone on the FB page. Some of you I couldnt find so I sent you back a pm with the info I need to try to find you.

Just for everyone's info...I work every Friday, Saturday and Sunday and take call so sometimes I do not reply immediately. Sometimes at work I can get online and othertimes I cannot. (mostly I dont have time to get online,,,Babies being born interfere's with online time) I am usually off every Monday so I play catch up then.

Hope you are all doing well. I have 16 hours of call this week alone so I am hoping I dont get called in and I can get the list finished.

1- If you kill the power then your tv's won't work, not will your pwer tools. The man Cave would be pretty useless without power. GASP

2- Tom is not flylady's husband- he is just one of the guys who works in the flyshop, but he does have cool tools.

Plus we are getting closer to our cruise!!!!!

They don't know we can turn off the power to just a section of the home, like where the toasters are located, if we want to. We can leave the power on to our POWER TOOLS, we can keep our BIG SCREEN TV'S and the BIG GAME on as well!!! We are sooooooooooo smart!!!! (Glad you showed me how to do this boss!!!) With out that brain.......I am totally lost!!!

Yes we ladies do know you can turn the power off to one section of the home, Let me be the first to remind you that if you do, there will be rumblies in your tummies and a mess to clean up call the fridge and the freezer. Also if you do, then you might not have money for that Men's club mtg in the Pub as you had to replace all the food that went bad

Hey David,

I think we might have them on this. They don't know that we can selectively turn power off to each applance.

Need to keep this intel very quiet..........
