Bumpty Bumpty

Do you have to go to the Spa to book hair appointment? Or guest services?

Someone asked about divers.......my son and I are snorkellers but would both love to dive, so this time we are trying snuba in Key West and Discovery scuba at stingray city GC, through an outside company. xxx

:surfweb: Hi,
here are some pix of my daughter and grand children snuba-ing in St. Thonas last year..
SnubaStThomas012.jpg

they had a blast..
have a great weekend,
gg

lol Andrea, mine got too much of a sugar fix, in a hours time they got enough candy for a year. Most of it is going to the Battered Womens Shelter down at the Y tomorrow. Case weighed it and it is 15.5 lbs of candy!!! I gave out probably that much though also, we had 144 kids last night, the neighbors told me we get a lot of kids but I was not expecting that many!

GG, I love the snuba pics, how cool!!

oh my gosh, you are the first person online I have ever saw that is a member of the Moose too! :scared1: I grew up in the Moose and were members till our lodge closed last year.

Joined last year. We love to Country/western dance and they have a c/w band every friday night. There are 14 in our immediate group that get together every friday. Lots of fun. Hoping we get to dance on the cruise. You don't want to see me go thru a c/w withdrawl, haha. Charlie

LOL, sounds like time for some Electric slide and Southside shuffle! I havent done any of that since I got kids and hips!

For anyone looking for a different Palo dinner, there were some sea night times available at 4am this morning. I was able to switch ours from a 9pm to 6:30pm thank goodness! Now if a Brunch would just open up, but not holding my breath at this point!

Wow, grumpy gramps that looks like fun!
Isn't there a snuba excursion on our cruise somewhere? Maybe I will have to look into it. Our kids would love it!

Thank you everyone for the warm welcomes...I kind of feel special now...just kidding.

Andi, I am interested in the magnet exchange but I don't have a cabin #. I am being told I will get that on the ship but they told me this last time and I still got my docs before hand but I don't know about this time.

I am new to these boards and their organization is a little different...I am having trouble finding things to read about in regards to excursions and cruise experiences...what does the "double dip" mean that everyone refers to??:upsidedow

I booked our Palo's for the last night but there were no more brunches available...:sad1: I am hoping that they will have some openings when we get on the ship.

I completely forgot about the door decorating until I saw some of everyone's previous postings...Yes, I got overwhelmed around page 5 and just started clicking random pages afterwords... My hubby wants to make one marking our first "cruiseversary" so that will be my next project...getting them printed and having my MIL laminate for me at her office...hopefully ;)

I will tell you what I have planned for my excursions...
Key West - We will just be doing on our own (hubby used to go every year with family). I have read on my other site that it is walkable and I like walking as I used to walk around a theme park multiple times a day and now have a desk job :sad2: . I need to exercise! I made an itinerary and though it is two pages (b/c of descriptions) most of them are just for picture stops so I think we can do it! :cheer2:
Cayman Islands - I am planning on booking the Island Tour with Captain Marvin's or Cayman in a Nutshell...Hubby has done that too but I haven't! Then we are requesting to be dropped off at Royal Palms for a couple of hours on the beach.
Cozumel - I booked the Cozumel Highlights and Mayan Ruins Tour with DCL. I don't want to do the beaches, which from my other site I see is really popular. I want a more cultural experience and the Tulum excursion is too much traveling time for me! We will find somewhere to eat or just shop around afterwords before getting back on the ship.
Castaway Cay - Hubby is a sailer. He races Hobie Cats with his dad and sister and they have Hobie Waves on the beach so he said if it is windy he wants to do that again....It was quite entertaining last year because they gave him a hard time about why he wanted to take the boat out and he let them know that he has been doing it since he was 5 and explained everything he knew to them using all his nautical terminology. They knew nothing of what he was saying but said it sounded like he knew what he was talking about so they let us go....I can barely swim so I was terrified (my first time sailing) but it was fun. There was a crowd of the cast members watching us from ashore and when he brought it back they all ran towards us and said that they were impressed because they had never had anyone bring it back to shore before! :rotfl: If any of you others like to sail and would like to get together for that let me know. We might spend some time at the adult beach and I wouldn't mind another picture with Captain Jack but we will see. We weren't too thrilled with the island last time.

I think that this is more than enough for now! Till next time! :tink:

Lucinda and Tania- when I log on there are Palo reservations available for groups of 3 or 4. Maybe if you have your reservations linked with someone (or each other) you will be able to book it together (having company is better than no brunch at all if you ask me!)

No problem-just let me know if you find out and I will add the room # to the list before I distribute it. If you don't find out until port you can call my cell# or leave a message on my room phone and I will make sure the room # gets added! OH, I do need your DH's name and if anyone else is with you theirs also!

a Double Dip is where the ship stops at Castaway Cay twice during the trip.

Yea!!:cool1:

I have been playing with photobucket trying to figure out at what size I should upload pix. So here is a tester:
This is me (blond witch) and DD11 last night for Halloween:
Photo9-1.jpg

Yes, she is 11! (going on 30, as they say:rolleyes: )
Another size test: This is at the DIG (aquarium at Atlantis)
DCP_1991-1.jpg

There, she looks more 11, 'cept she's 9 here!:cutie:

Welcome Tania! Did they release Florida resident discounts for this cruise? I was noticing a few weeks ago that there were still cabins available in all categories (4-11).

Marcy

Wow, you two could be sisters!

Well if anyone is willing to link up let me know and ty Andrea!

Ha! The black & white setting hides the wrinkles! Actually we are 30 years apart... so thank you for the compliment!

It gets more confusing when my mom is with us... she is only 19 years older than me and looks really good. People think Christina is her daughter and I'm, well, who knows... the aunt? Not complaining though!

Hey Andi- (can I call you that?)
I have been meaning to ask where you get the Disney images people use for custom door signs. I clicked around the DISigns board but it seems to be people who are willing to create something for you rather than lead you to where you can get the tools to DIY. Thanks for any insight!

WELCOME TanCharLeo!
It sounds like you all had a good Halloween, I thought I would share a photo of some of our gang. DS is the Joker in purple. Most of these boys are in his scout group.

Would anyone recommmend the parasailing at Castaway? I have it booked for myself as my DS's and DH are opting out.

For formal night, I have tuxes for the guys, but not sure how formal to go for myself?

How do you book hair appts?

I am getting so excited, what a great birthday present, we set sail the day of my B'day. The kids are so excited.

:surfweb: Hi,
Just watched the WONDER sail from Port. It's raining at the Cape.

They have snuba in key west..

Been cutting out name tags all day :scared1: , as each needs to be trimmed twice :sad2: . One time from the photo paper, than again after it is attached to the buisness card magnet. Thus cut cut trim trim  , I can assure you all, that no name tag will have the same cutings as the next :goodvibes , all 100% made by hand. DW and DD went shopping I stayed trimming :woohoo: :yay: ... It's fun and most will like them :yay: others will just throw them away :sad2: .Got to get back to triming/cutting:scared1: .
have a good evening,
gg

Dh did the parasailing on our last cruise and loved it, he talked me into trying it this cruise.:scared:

Some folks dress to the nines for formal nigt, some don't. I bought a knee length black dress with rhinestones on the neckline. DH just wears his suit and jacket he would wear to church.

I never heard of snuba diving?:confused3 Is that because they have the air cord attached?

I have a BAD habit of keeping EVERYTHING! Your tags are being made with TLC literally!:thumbsup2
