I have to agree with Andrea that our meet thread isn't very active. When we cruised back in 2006 our meet thread was pretty active. I guess some people have a real life...

I was wondering if we are going to try and do a magnet exchange or something? It really was fun coming back to our room and finding a new magnet on the door. It was even more fun trying to get the magnet on someones door without them seeing you! DS and I went around one night at like 2 in the morning putting ours on everyone's doors.

I am all for the magnet exchange or whatever Michele. Maybe now that we are closer we can liven our thread up a bit more? I usually check it everyday, but did not want to come across as stalking or compulsive lol!

I guess I am the compulsive one and the stalker!! We went to Down town Disney today and as soon as we got home I was on here checking our thread!

When we did the exchange back in 2006, we just had people get a magnet that had to do with the state they were from. I actually got a couple cute homemade magnets with pictures in them. I still have everyone of them too!

Well Michele, we are both up in the wee hours of the am, we need some sleep or help or maybe a WDW trip for sure! lol

We had a long day today, believe it or not a wedding this evening and a funeral this morning. Its been a long day but I just can't sleep, so I came to stalk the threads a bit lol

Oh wow! I guess you did have a busy day. To have to do a wedding and a funeral in the same day...

I suffer from insomnia (sp?) So I am usually up until around 4 a.m. Yuck

I have been this way forever so I am use to it. We are having a gathering at the house tomorrow starting at noon so I should be in rare form for that. Normally I take DS to school and then come home and really sleep until about 11 a.m. As long as I get at least 6 hours of sleep I am good to go...

I have been contimplating a weekend at WDW but we are just so busy. I know they were completely booked for this weekend. DD parked her car at Fort Wilderness after work today and when I came to pick her up there I noticed the parking lot was real full. I know we are going to MNSSHP this month but don't know just when yet.

I have to add, that picture of the babies sleeping in your siggy is adorable!

We are running paralell lives I tell ya Michelle. 4 is usually when I go to bed too and have always done it! It worked when I ran team with the ex cross country. I average about 4-5 hours a day and then about every other week I will sleep like 12 hours straight one day, just weird!

I have DH's "clan" coming tomorrow afternoon also, church in the morning and the actual funeral at noon, so yeah its gonna be a long day!

I have a friend who lives near WDW and she said it has been really busy also. I was hoping she could pop over and see Ariel in her grotto, the new Ariel is a friend of my nieces from high school and wanted to get a pic of her.

Ty about the pic, I just got a new camera for the cruise and I just love it! I took that picture last week, came home from the store and DH said they both crashed out like that , I just thought it was too cute. The others are Katies first day of school this year and a pic of Carrie with her SECOND pair of glasses in 4 months lol.

ETA- You changed your avatar, you took my truck away! lol Very nice family pic!

Every now and then I like to change out the pictures. I was contimplating putting a picture I took of DH's newer truck and my new Edge, but I went with the formal night picture instead. I love Optimus but it was time for a change.

It is sad when the wee ones have to wear glasses at such a young age. I have a friend who's son has worn glasses since he was like 2. It is amazing how they adapt to them though. I have to fight with DS 10 to wear his.

DD works at Casey's Corner and she said it was a zoo at Disney today. She said yesterday was dead. Go figure, I guess everyone decided to hang out at the resorts and go to DTD, as that place was crazy busy.

Scary, I have sleep problems too, actually lately it hasn't been so bad since I started taking melatonin. I do my best work at 4 am though!

I feel like a stalker because I'm always checking in here too. Our 06 cruise board was always jumping compared to here!

Michele- Sea World is about 30 mins south of Legoland, there is a Zoo 5 mins from Sea World BUT I would go to the Wild Animal Park personally which is about 30 mins from Legoland also, but inland not south.

It's not hard to navigate to all of the places using Legoland as a central point. DL does sell a "Southern California City Pass" That is a great deal.
The link is too long to post but it includes 3 days at DL/CA, plus 1 day at Universal Studios, Sea World & the Zoo OR Wild Animal Park for $247/199. If you were planning on all of those places it would be worth it. It's about $100 savings. Unfortunately it doesn't include Legoland.

At mousesavers.com they have a list of where you can get discount coupons, etc for all of the local interst points. I know Burger King had Legoland coupons recently, but the AAA discount might be better. We always collect every possible discount and take them all to see which one saves up more money with the current specials!

It would be kinda neat to do a "Secret Pal" type exchange with Fish Extender Gifts too.

I found a really cool DISboarder sign that I'll personalize for everyone too.

Do we have an official name? Did we decide on the "Perpetual Planners" or do we want to try again?

Andrea, Thank you for all the California Information. I will go to Mousesavers.com and check there too. We would like to spend a couple days down by Legoland so if the Animal park is better that is probably where we would want to go.

We definitely plan on spending more time up by DL.

I LOVE THE IDEA OF THE SECRET PAL EXCHANGE!! I just received the Oriental Trading company magazine and it has some cute stuff in it that would be perfect for the kiddo's. (Well maybe adults would like it too)!

Just let me know what I need to do and I will help in any way...

I also get my best work done late late late at night!

Oh yeah and whatever name you all had decided on is good for me....I am NOT Creative in any way shape or form unfortunately. But I am willing to pitch in however I need to.

I had no idea it was possible to get hooked on something as fast as I did on deciding our families first DCL trip. Yessh! It seems like nearly over night I became obsessed with all things related to our Disney cruise. After finding this board, it occurs to me I might not be the only one....

This is going to be fun.

we were gone for a few days for the w/e so i haven't been able to check in but it looks as though it's been busy here!
we were with the whole cruise clan (13 of us) over the w/e and finally made our final payment and started thinking about excursions. everyone is getting very excited!
