Hello! Can some please direct me to the Fish Extender gift group I would like to participate while on the cruise.

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since no one has come forward to organize a FE for this cruise here on the DIS, please feel free to organize the FE right in this thread.

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin. Other information you would like to share such as first names, ages of child participants, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since no one has come forward to organize a FE for this cruise here on the DIS, please feel free to start the FE right in this thread.

There is certainly plenty of time to plan a FE for this cruise. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done in this thread. Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now here on the DIS. If anyone is interested in doing this, feel free to contact me for some suggestions.

We're very excited to be doing ours first Disney cruise and first time to the Carribean. We are a group of 9 people including my hubby, 4 kids, my 2 sisters and brother in law. We're travelling from Brisbane, Australia and are celebrating both my hubby's and my 40th birthdays. Any tips greatly appreciated!

This is our first cruise, Hubby, myself and our 7 yr old son.

We are looking forward to our first ever Disney Cruise together! We were originally going to take one of the Star Wars cruises in April, but after booking we found out our friend had forgotten to tell us that was the week of his wedding in which my husband is the best man! So we rebooked over my birthday weekend! Excited to be going sooner than originally planned, but sad to be missing out on the Star Wars itinerary! Although... my husband was doing some research and he finds it a bit peculiar that the itinerary being run on this cruise is the same Itinerary A as the Star Wars cruises... We appear to have 1 extra day at sea than the normal Itinerary A and it is one of only two modified Itinerary A's cruises being run before the Star Wars cruises start in January... Anyone else notice this?

I just realized that the new Star Wars movie will be released while on the cruise! Does anyone know if they do midnight showings for movie premieres, or does the film just show during a more "normal" time during the day?

We will be on this cruise. we were married last year at Castaway Cay on the Fantasy
this will be our first anniversary (just 2 adults sailing)

we get off the Dream Dec 7th cruise and will also be sailing on the Dec 12th Fantasy cruise (in case anyone else is doing BTB cruises)

not sure if we are going to join the FE for this cruise.
Since we live in Australia it's a bit hard to bring stuff over with limited space. (as we quickly found out last year)

but we might have enough time to prepare
is there a current update list?

I really hope so! Keeping my fingers firmly crossed that the official release date is confirmed for the 18th then we should get a midnight viewing!

I am so excited for our first cruise. My Husband and two girls plus my best friend will be on this cruise the week of 12-19. This is our first cruise ever. My best does not know about this yet. This a surprise for her birthday next week.

So if anyone has any advise please let me know. I know we want to participate with the Fish Extenders can someone help us with joining a group?

So, so hoping this is true! Plus we have the same itinerary as the Star Wars Cruises starting after the first of year... so I'm a LITTLE curious as to what that means... Either way we are packing our Star Wars gear JUST IN CASE!!

There will be a link at the upper right on every page to your "Inbox" and you can click on any username and a link to "Start a conversation" will be available. In addition, you will then be able to upload images and have links in your signature. FE lists can be securely sent via conversation or posted right in the thread as many cruise meets are already doing (and have for years).

There seems to be a good core group right here for a FE. Someone just needs to volunteer to organize the list right in the thread.

We are on this cruise and looking to join a Fish Extender group too. It will be me and my husband and my 4 year old son. This will be our second Disney cruise! We are so excited!
