When our kids are little, they don't use the snorkel or fins. They just wear the mask and hold their breath. Then wear their life jackets and float while looking down. It's an easy way to start.
I remember the panic of breathing through your mouth the first few breaths. I almost always start by hyperventalating.
Not the recommended method.
Glad to hear that Pooh has decided to come and that everyone is healthy. I'm ready for a dance myself today. If you see a rival of Elaine Benes on the dance floor, it's just me. Don't say anything, I think I'm a good dancer.

Thanks for the great suggestions! I have a tendency to think in all or nothing terms; these are great options. I think I will bring the inflatable viewer (already have one), and the ride along will probably work for both.
I'll be working on my list for next week.
....bahaa
the count-down has really started for me. I feel the pressure!

and then went right to the hospital. My grandmom was having surgery. She had fluid in her brain after a fall so they had to get it out and relieve the pressure. Was super scared. she's 91 and any surgery at this age is dangerous.. So just got home while my mom and uncle are still there i couldnt stay around anymore. Just waiting to hear from my mom on how my grandmom is doing. was there 4 hours and started feeling sick after the dr's came out to talk to us.
