As one of the few (if not only) DH on these borards I must thank you all. My wife teaches 3rd grade and is not around all day. I'm a lawyer so there are times when I'm in the office with some time to kill (like now as I wait for the DMV to pick up the phone!)

Anyway, we took our 1st cruise in 07 when the girls were 3 & 5. Now 2 years later, I had forgotten all the great ideas I thought of or was told back then. These posts have helped. I totally forgot about detergent. Do we still need quarters too?

Still trying to get a decent FE thing done. We have not packed yet. We assured ourselves we'd start this long weekend.

Still waiting to see what perks our AAA TA might have gotten us...

I've packed the girls... mostly. And I'm thrilled to have a pressing service available to me on the boat. Unfortunately, when I packed the girls, I opted out of all of my other daily chores... so the house is a mess and the girls room is trashed. I had to pull down all their old, current and future clothes to get what I needed. Is 5 play outfits enough if I do laundry?

How much time do your kids spend in the water? I figure my kids will go through more swimsuits than clothing. They can always wear the same thing to dinner on 2+ days since most likely they will be in that outfit for just a couple of hours. Do laundry early in the morning - if you have to. I plan on my kids in swimsuits most of the day, every day.

I agree, but they dry pretty fast. We bring 2 each.

And I haven't experienced the sand mite thing, but I'm not risking it either, doesn't sound fun. Does anyone else use rashguards? We all have them and wear them. It's so nice not to have to do sunscreen every 5 seconds.

I stopped at Costco to look for formal night clothes for GoBison tonight. The dresses were adorable. I took pictures if anyone is interested in seeing them.

My kids and my DH all have pirate outfits to wear if we have room to pack them. I alas do not have anything that's officially pirate, but I guess I could try to dress like a wench without too much trouble.

Since no one guessed this I thought I should tell you its a cut out thats on the back seat of chairs by the tables at the Disney terminal at Cape Canaveral.

Our kids are, but not the adults - finding something for us was low on the priority list - still finishing DD 7 dress for formal night.

My family all have costumes but I bought myself a huge white shirt to wear over a striped shirt and some black leggings plus accessories.

I am thinking about this. I doubt DH and I will. DD9 was a pirate for Halloween, so has that costume, but DD6 has nothing.

A dear friend of mine has INCREDIBLE pirate costumes that she loaned me for this trip for both kids (playmates of mine, same size ). They wore them on their Disney cruise. I have a blouse, pants, boots and bandanna that will pass for pirate wear. Sadly, the blouse is one I used to wear when I was going to the clubs and wanted to look hot. Now it's a pirate costume. A neighbor offered to lend DH a Jack Sparrow costume, but he declined. Working on that..... But, probably just the three of us.
