I got a regular flu shot last week. My daughter (2yr old) got both the regular and swine flu shots yesterday. My son's home sick this week with some sort of flu. We hope to get him a flu shot once he's recovered. Then it's just DH who'll need to get a flu shot somewhere.

They're not giving out swine flu shots to adults around here unless you have a small baby at home (or other significant risks).

One of the ppl. on our thread who got called about a paid upgrade were told they had until yesterday at 2 PM to accept it. So, maybe they started working on assignments after that.

I think of the 20 some cat. 12 gty cabins we have, very few of us got upgrade calls. Our family has 6 cabins and we didn't.

It's a bummer not to get the upgrade call...last week starting on Monday, people on our thread started getting calls. I think 8 people in our group of about 15 "active" posters got called. I was feeling a little rejected

But then I got over it and realized I am lucky just to be going ...I'm still hoping for a nice cabin assignment, but our family of 4 has 2 cabins so even if we get cat 11's or 12's we'll still have good space to spread out. I do hope no matter what cat they assign us, that they will put us either right next to each other or within a few doors of one another. I know I'm not guaranteed that, but a girl can hope!

Booked 12, got 11 here. As above, I haven't heard of many upgrades to anything other than inside rooms. However, they are still showing many nicer cabins for sale on our dates. As of this morning, they are showing 2 cat 11s, 2 cat 10, one cat 9 (interesting, 9s were gty yesterday), and at least 7 in each category 4-8. Maybe they are planning on us all rushing to the port in the morning.

I would like to just add one tidbit of info that might turn out to be true for your group.

In April we sailed on a gty cat 12. We were assigned a cat 11.

Six days before we sailed, we got a call from IC telling us that they had upgraded us to a cat 9. So, maybe you will get upgraded again if those cabins are not booked and they move up cat 9 people to higher cats...

By the way, when I checked in at the port at around 11 AM, there were still several verandah cabins left, and yes, we spent the $800+ dollars to get one. At the time, we thought that would be the only cruise we'd go on for awhile, so we felt we wanted to spring for it...mind you, that was only 7 months ago and here we go again! LOL!

Good for you! It was kind of funny. Our 6 cabins are connected in our ressies. We got 1065 & 1067. Cabin 1067 is connected to 1069 -that is my dad's room. Weird that they wouldn't put us in the connecting rooms (which we asked for <obviously no guarantee>). And, it is no big deal because my dad will switch with us, but kind of weird, huh?

And there are 12 of us traveling in 5 cabins and last week we received Cat 9's after purchasing cat 12's and they are all together. Yeah.

I got the first proof back for the bracelets...it was wrong. So, as soon as I get a correct version, I'll post.

GoBison, another fun thing, the rubber bracelets. Even my teenagers love them as a momento of our fun vacation.

So that's where all the cat 9s went! We were wondering why none of us got upgraded above 10. You took them all!

Yes, I have resurfaced after many long months. Sold my house, moved most of my items into storage while I look for another place to purchase. Only took 5 contracts and 6 months of grief. On to looking forward to the cruise. Want to get added to the FE list - sent a private message to bevtoy to see what I need to do. Could someone give me a basic 101 update on magnets. I went to look for magnet sheets to print off images on them and thought I could get them at JoAnn's - no go. Please advise as I am new to this.

Try Ebay the prices are much better.... on printable magnetic sheets.

We took the plunge and are going on our 1st Disney cruise!! We are huge Disney World fans but DH has been a little hesitant to do a cruise. However, for our 15th anniversary he decided to give it a shot!!
If it's still possible, I would love to purchase 4 bracelets -- 2 adults, 2 kids.

I think I volunteered to take 10 when we were struggling to fill the order. I only need 8, so if someone else needs or wants the other 2 you can gladly give them to them!
