No documents for us . I think it's about 24 days until we fly out so hopefully we'll get ours in time.

On a brighter note, I bought my bingo dabbers yesterday for bingo And I have just paid $2112 to the boarding kennel for my 3 dogs for 51 days of boarding. I don't know who'll miss who the most - us or the dogs! It's all slowly coming together now. Then it'll be the big house clean and preparing for possible cyclones while we are away.

I printed off some of the things at hubby's office on their flash laser printer for my FE exchange to make up and I also made some magnets for our door. Stupid computer at hubby's work though didn't recognise a lot what I did on my Mac so I only managed to get the kids' name magnets and our family one done, but our individual ones for me and hubby will have to be redone and printed at home on our cheap printer

besides F.E. does anyone want to get together for something as a group like a dis photo? or do something like shots around the ship on a sea day. adults only.(its try to hit as many of the lounges as a group as possible (drinking alcohol is not a requirement) don't :&but ing is allowed

I would like to get some pics if that's okay with others, I'm not really a drinker but I'm sure I can make my one drink last a long time. I read on some of the other sailings either side of ours that's what some of them are doing, too. And giving themselves a name. Any ideas for a Dis-group name for the cruise? I work with little kids so I can only come up with lame ones.

I grew up in Ringwood East. Most of my family still lives in the eastern suburbs somewhere!

Since only the 20 credit package is available in both places (pre-buy online or purchase onboard) I can only answer for that one - the price is the same if you pre-buy it online or purchase it onboard ($149).

The other pre-buy options (10 credits and 30 credits) are only available if you pre-buy online. The other one (40 credits) in only available for purchase onboard. So the prices for those items will be what they are, no discount.

When you go to the DCL site, go to the gifts & amminties (sp?) link. That's where they have all the stuff you can buy to have on the ship (fruit & cheese platters, wine/beer/water packages, and photo packages).

Welcome. We are first time DCL'ers too but this will be our second time cruising. I'm looking forward to it.

I got my FE today that I had a friend make. It looks so small but I'm sure it's the right size. Now I just have to add some finishing touches and then I can pack it away.

I feel your pain with leaving your dogs. We have a 13 year old black lab and have begun leaving him at our vet's office boarding so I know he can get any medical he needs right away. But we MISS him so much when we run off for vacation. Since DH is staying home this time, they will both sit and veg out in front of the TV and be happy.

I feel your pain with leaving your dogs. We have a 13 year old black lab and have begun leaving him at our vet's office boarding so I know he can get any medical he needs right away. But we MISS him so much when we run off for vacation. Since DH is staying home this time, they will both sit and veg out in front of the TV and be happy.

I think we paid about $5 each for the dabbers on the last cruise for them, I got them from the 'dollar store' this time.

I'm starting to have second thoughts about leaving the dogs! I almost said to my husband the other day that we should cancel the trip because my red dog might fret too much for me Crazy, I know, but we seem to be so attached to our pets that I'm sure it's normal for many people.

Any news about the hail storm that was met with the current cruisers? When we were on the south Pacific cruise a few years ago we hit the outer end of a cyclone near Fiji (I think it was) when we were leaving Lifou (New Caledonia). It wasn't too bad but it came over stormy and windy really quick and made for an interesting dinner that night with the boat rocking and rolling.

Dont know how the weather impacted the current cruisers but it was 41 degrees (f) this morning on my way to work! Only made it to low 60's today. Hopefully not so cold for our departure day!
