What is the name of the Etsy person you got yours from? Can you send a link to it?

Thanks! I think I may skip an excursion we'd planned in a small boat. It's ok, more time on the ship with less people on board!

i need to make one more post before i'm allowed to post links!

The etsy seller is StitchesNBows.

Here is the page where she lists the pillowcases and fish extenders
http://www.etsy.com/shop/StitchesNBows?section_id=7066206

She has a link somewhere on there to her facebook where she has albums of all of the characters and designs she can do - I picked one from the facebook album b/c of the bigger selection.

welcome aboard! unfortunately it will be hard to place you as there will be so many ladies dancing with Goofy.

oh no, i won't be dancing with goofy, i'll be doing my happy dance NEAR him - think homer simpson with the wiggly hands and side-stepping feet and the open mouth - I'll be too shy to say anything to him i'm sure! :rotfl:

thanks for that. i've just had a quick peek at it and got ideas. i don't know if it would get to us in time before we fly over, so i might have to try and make one.

which country do you live in? it's not listed on your location. i only ask because i see you're online and i'm sure it's night time in america.

We are in Los Angeles. Either one of us could be logged in at random times!

I'm making some of the fish extender gifts today.

I reserved a Limo to take us from the airport to the pier. It is a surprise for the kids. Also my husband and I have never been in one.

Can someone tell me the name of the hotel really close to the pier that has the complimentary shuttle to the terminal? I read about it in Trip Advisor but forgot to note the name of it. We have a few days between Disneyland and the cruise and we're thinking of hiring a car and touring around outside of L.A but I think we'd be best off getting a hotel close to the pier the night before.

Also, can you get Cherry Ripe chocolates in the U.S? Or Tim Tams - not like in specialty stores for ex-pat Aussies or anything, but normally in the supermarket like you can Snickers and stuff. :confused3 I was thinking they'd be a great addition to my fish extender gifts (if I don't eat them all first!) if nobody has tried them before (but they have coconut in them so I'll have to check for anyone's allergies). Thanks.

I've never heard of cherry ripe chocolates. Are they chocolates covered cherries?

@marlea98 sorry I can't be of any help when it comes to hotels near the port. We are staying next to disneyland and then heading to the port the morning of the cruise.

I think the candy idea is a good one. We live in new mexico and have access to lots of mexican candies that we will be including with the fe gifts too.

Hello, everybody!

We're the latecomers to the party. Just booked this cruise. I haven't had time to read the whole thread, but will do so tomorrow. Gotta go bowling tonight!

I'm Linda, traveling with DH Mike and DS David. David is 18 and in college, and I'm sure he would like to not spend the whole time with Mom and Dad. Are there any similarly aged people in our group? That wouldn't mind him maybe tagging along to more "youth oriented" activities occasionally?

As I said, haven't had time to read thread, is there a FE? I'm assuming we might be too late for it - but MAYBE???? :rolleyes1pixiedust:

Talk to you tomorrow.

:cutie:

Hi Linda

I'm new to this forum, too, but we booked our cruise in November 2010. My kids are a lot younger than your son so I don't know what to suggest. And I think your drinking age is 21 so he wouldn't be able to go to the bars either. I'm sure there'd be heaps of others on board close to his age though and they'd cater for his age group.

OK, just finished reading the whole thread!

We've (DH & I) have cruised DCL before. It's David's first time. At 18 he will be able to go in the adult areas, but he cannot order alcohol.

FE info (if we're in)
Room: 2076
Me: Linda
DH: Mike
DS: David

no allergies.

Is there a DISmeet? On previous cruises, we've met at the Promenade Lounge at 3:00pm (just prior to drill) on departure day. Or has something else been arranged?
