December 11, 2010 7 Night Western Magic (Part DEUX)

It is too bad that so many are getting sick after their vacation.

There was a lot of coughing going on onboard the ship though.

Sorry everyone is sick. The ironic thing is that my 2 who keep getting strep are strep free! They are still getting their tonsils out on Monday though. Not taking any chances because it has been a rough few months!

I still have my bag of FE goodies to go through, including listening to the CD's. I am soooo looking forward to getting the Holiday stuff out of the way so I can go though it all in detail! It's like my own little Christmas present taunting me!

I'm looking at my photos and I got NONE of pirate night. Only video. Anyone have generic pics they would like to share? Maybe the party on deck or the buffet decorations?
I took over 600 pics and I feel like I STILL missed so much!

Andrea, I took no pictures of the pirate party this time and I steered well clear of that buffet line. :scared1:

Past experience has shown me just how crazy crowded it is on deck around that buffet line ;)

After so many pirate parties I don't bother to take pictures anymore. I just enjoy it as I am watching it.

I probably have some from previous cruises though, if you don't find some from our cruise.

The forecast for Raleigh is anywhere from a dusting to 18 inches of snow! I thought I lived in the South! Bring on the white Christmas weekend.:santa:

I just noticed this in your post as I was scrolling by and it never jumped out at me before.

My brother in law lives not too far from Raleigh.

Andrea - still going thru our 500 pics and I think I saw some from pirate night. I can send you some once things are calm here.

Robin - looks like we will only be getting 1 to 3 inches of snow now. That will be enough to close everything. We don't have very many snow plows here.:confused3

Good luck with your snow.

That amount of snow here almost doesn't even warrant taking out the snow plows :rotfl:

But then again, we are used to it, not that we really get that much snow in a winter here.

If we get a large amount of snow, it is usually from a snowstorm and the winds tend to whip it up into huge snowdrifts which causes the major problems.

Is anybody going to share pictures of their cruise here with us?

I'd love to see other families pictures.

I will post some of our, although there are very few pictures of me.

I think maybe my daughter took a few.

Well, I'm off to brave the shopping crowds. I just noticed that the heater in my fish pond is not working and I'm going to go and try to find a new one. I don't really want my fish to die over the winter.

Have a fun day everyone.

Thankyou everyone.

Its christmas morning down under and we got home yesterday. First chance to get on computer before kids wake up.

We had the best time in USA so thankyou for everyones hospitality and friendship. You have a wonderful country.

Thankyou for everyones gifts the kids spent last night playing with them all and we are listening to CD's whilst we type.

We did get the hot sauce through customs and back home. I don't think they would of found it amongst the number of bags and souveniers we collected.

We were lucky to sit with a wonderful family from Maryland and the kids became best friends and did everything together.

We also are planning on coming back to cruise again. Everyone wants to do same cruise again with the excuse of redoing stingray city at Cayman due to it being cancelled.

Again it was great to meet many of you and thankyou to USA for 4 weeks of fun.

Bill, Sharon, Madison & Sarah

I'm so happy to hear that you had such a lovely vacation:thumbsup2

It was so nice meeting you onboard the ship.

Enjoy your Christmas Day. :santa:

The rain finally stopped in Cali, it is beautiful today! I hope the snow is as beautiful, or more!

Blackduck, glad you made it home safely and that you enjoyed the US. We will be cruising again in 2012, maybe we'll see you again!

I will start with the pics. Here we are on formal night. I haven't had time to upload anything else (this one was scanned for Christmas cards!). I hate the after cruise blues, not sure if I can stand to upload them all to my computer yet.:sad1:

So how many times did I sit next to you, walk past you or stand in line behind you and not know it was a fellow Dis'er??

Hmmm, I'm not sure.

None of you look real familiar to me.

Maybe our paths didn't cross all that often onboard.

Here are a few initial pictures. Put up pirate night stuff because someone asked about that. Unfortunately most of my pictures didn't really turn out that night. I'll be adding more to the album soon, I'll post when I do though.

I'm setting the album to be able to download so if anyone spots any generic shots they are welcome to snag them if they need em.

**edit** Actually looking at the picture of Chip I think it was, I think it might be your kids in the shot SILLYANDI. heheh let me know!

Thanks for the photos Brenna.

I haven't looked yet but I am going right now to check them out.

I will post some pictures too. Maybe not today but soon.

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas yesterday.

Deleted that album and am making a new one....I'll post it as soon as it is uploaded. It has a bunch of family pics in it so just sift through them if you feel like it. heheh

Here is the updated link. It is still in the process of uploading.

Because I'm nosey and stuck at work for 12 hours I looked through the whole album. Soo many cute pics! I think I saw your girls a few times and I think we were all dancing next to the chipmunk on pirate night (don't know which one it was though cause I'm that lame!)

Did I by chance give you our Bingo Cards on the $5000 jackpot day? I swear you look like the nice family that I handed them to as I walked out (and did you win? lol)

next to the chipmunk on pirate night (don't know which one it was though cause I'm that lame!)

Here is the tip for telling Chip and Dale apart.

Chip has the dark brown nose....... think chocolate CHIP :thumbsup2

Andrea, did Mikey get her birthday girl pin/ribbon that I left on the fish extender the last night of the cruise?

Brenna, I loved your photos.

You all looked like you were having a fantastic time together.

Yeah I knew that Dale had the red nose, but in my picture the nose is covered so I can't remember which was the one that was closest to us during Minnie's Dance during the pirate party.

Thanks about the pictures. I hope everyone had a great holiday. We are still in the process of it all, as we are now at my parent's house doing our second Christmas Eve and day party.
