First time on this thread in a long time. DH & I will be joining everyone for our 2nd Disney Cruise. Looking forward to a relaxing 2 week vacation. Disney World in 10 days here we come!:banana:

Not sure what time we will get to the port due to taking disney transportation to the cruise. Will try to make the meet in the lounge if possible.

I can't believe how fast the time is coming! I was checking over paperwork last week and found several issues that I had to fix up...Thankfully I went through it with a fine tooth comb and called in about it! I can't imagine what could have possibly happened otherwise.

If anyone has an iPhone I downloaded a great app by gogps called Key West for .99(just search gogps key west). It has a full map of all the sites in Key West as well as small 2 minute movies about each place as well. I thought it was well worth it for .99.

OHH, that sounds neat. We weren't planning on getting off the ship in Key West but that might make it worth a little tour. Thanks

Yeah we weren't sure what we were going to do in Key West either. This way we can just go where we want and take as much time as we want.

Gah...I'm getting too excited now. I can't believe how much stuff has to be done before we leave though. Today is tracking all our Christmas stuff and wrapping. Gotta make sure it is all done before we leave, that way we won't have to worry when we get back.

Oh I certainly know that feeling. Both of those feelings actually.

I'm trying not to get too excited yet but it is very hard.

Every day I think about what I would be doing on the ship.

Isn't it amazing how turning the calendar page makes it all seem so real :scared1:

Not long now. :dance3:

I am with both of you - I have so much to do before we leave. I have been chipping away at my to do list. We have the majority of the Christmas shopping done but now I need to start wrapping, too!

Can't believe we will be in Orlando in 9 days!:cool1:

Anyone going Friday to Orlando? If so where ya staying at? Just curious about other people's plans. We are going on Friday and are treating ourselves to a night in the concierge studio in Animal Kingdom for the night.

Figured it was safer for us to plan to go down a day earlier due to how the airports were last year at this time. I know we had some cancellations in Ontario at several points in December.

What part of Ontario are you from? We are about an hour from Detroit.

We fly from Detroit. Much closer and easier for us, even with the border crossing.

We are flying in on Friday also. We are staying at the Westgate Lakes Resort, on Turkey Lake Road.

We are flying into Orlando on Friday but staying in Cocoa Beach that night. Since this is our first cruise, we were nervous about getting to the port Saturday morning...and too excited not to be close to the port!

arrgh! I am freaking out, so much to do and not enough time to do it all!

We are staying at the port Friday Night- originally we were at Raddisson but I found a 2 bd suite at Country Inn with free breakfast for $70! (being on the internet is what is slowing me down lol)

The Christmas Shopping is done, but all the CHristmas Choir performances, fininshing FEs, getting my paperwork all in one place, PACKING:scared1: oh yeah and the SICK KIDS WITH ENOURMOUS TONSILS!

I'm freaking out!

Soon it won't matter what got done and what didn't get done.

We will all be onboard the Disney Magic. :teeth:

The rest of the world no longer exists at that point:thumbsup2

Arriving the night before is always a good idea, especially at this time of the year.

Once we flew in the day of the cruise and never again, if not absolutely necessary.

We sat on the runway in Detroit for a long time, while they deiced the plane, closed the airport, deiced the plane again, closed the airport again ......:scared1:

I knew that if we could just get in the air that we would soon be past the storm but until that time, it was horribly scary, thinking we would not make it in time.

They actually held up the ship for people who were arriving from Detroit. We were on a morning flight and apparently after we got off the ground they did close the airport for several hours.

It sure does!! I was thinking the same thing this morning.:woohoo:
We are arriving in Orlando Thurs morning and staying at Pop for 2 nights.
I can't believe its almost here!! :hyper:
