We have so much to do this weekend.We will start the day tomorrow with getting hair cuts as well as eating lunch at our favorite hide out.We then will come home and start packing some stuff way.I have so much to do,and if I get it all done by next Friday I will be shocked.

smchan-I just laughed when I saw what you wrote.It is like I have got to do that too<G>.We will keep an eye out for you.You make sure to wave at us when you go by Gainesville.We will wave back.We are driving Saturn (Silver) Vue to port.

Pgood-Yes,the chocolate Souflle at Palo's.Yummy!

mbuckles-I haven't been able to sleep much lately either.I keep thinking I have this and this to do.I have been awake on and off all week.Next week it will be worse.Don't you let your wife know anything.You have put too much into it.I can't wait to hear all about it!She will be so happy and excited!

There she is,and one week from today we will all be there with her!

The temperatures for Cape Canaveral for December 11 lows 58,but by the time we all get to port it should be in the mid 60s.The highs that day are suppose to be 74 and sunny.This is as of yesterday.

I need to get off of here,and get to the mall to get haircut.I tell you if I could just stay off of here I would be done<G>.Am I excited?NAH!Just overly excited!

We are very excited that the weather in Florida has been so warm. 70's in Michigan is HOT. We were not sure if we were going to have to wait until we were at sea for warm weather. It's on my mind as I am drying the kids hat, gloves and scarves in the drier. Next week at this time we will be swimmng in the sun!!!!!!!!!!!!! . This vacation is way past due. See you all soon.

Jwann-Your welcome!We just got back from lunch and getting our hair cuts.Now,I wll lay down for a nap as I couldn't sleep last night.I will start my packing list later.I believe it is two pages long as mine will be that long if not longer<G>??I have to go to Wal-Mart too,but I am waiting on that one till tomorrow. We were eating lunch today,and DH is like this time next week we will be getting onboard the boat hopefully.I am hoping they let us on before noon,but I doubt it.

ann southworth-We had lows in the 40s last night.Here in FL that is cold.I am hope the weather is nice for us that week.

Thanks for the picture......It is so nice to know in one week it will be us waiting to board!! I am ready. My clothes are ironed, but not packed because my sister is visiting for the weekend and I always put my suitcase on the guest bed.

We are having our own fun today. We are both quilters and I just purchased a long arm quilting machine to finish a queen or king size quilt. It has been a lot of fun for the two of us. One queen and one full quilt done already. We need to go to Walmarts and get a king batting for the last quilt she brought down. Then we can load it and begin quilting.

I never make a list before packing, so I always forgett something small....and you can imagine it probably is something I didn't need anyway.

Kick up the sun so it is warm when we come down. I guess after snow, even 60 will feel good!!

Cool collage Mark. I don't think there are any digital pictures of all of us in the house and our new scanner isn't up and running yet. I'll check. My oldest son's Lego Robotic team went to a regional tournament today and they qualified for state! That tournament will be in January up in the Chicago subburbs. I'm excited for him! He needs more of a "brain" sport to compete in! I have no time to get ready for this cruise. It's a good thing I've been slowly packing (and I've got the important stuff ready, right mbuckles?)

I think I have most of my clothes as well youngest DD(1)'s packed in my suitcase as well as having most of DS(5)'s clothes packed. I've had my oldest DD(10) try on and put aside all the clothes she wants to take, so later today or early this week I'll put then in her suitcase. All that leaves me to pack is our formal clothes in the garment bag. My sweet DH is on his own in regard to packing his suitcase, though I've told him he better have it packed by Thursday night because I want to have the car packed up with all the suitcases Thursday night. He's running the California International Marathon (26.2 miles) tomorrow morning so he has other things on his mind right now. I'm so proud of him!!!

I still have to go to a Christmas party tonight, marathon tomorrow, plan my son's kindergarten holiday party(that they will have to have without me!!!) as well as all those last minute things that will need to get done.

As excited as I am(I keep telling my family-this time next week...)- when I see all that still needs to be done I find myself stressing. I just might have to treat myself to a spa service or two!

When is the DIS meet again?? I was thinking 4:30-5pm on deck 9 or 10, but if someone could clarify I would appreciate it.

THIS TIME NEXT WEEK- WE'LL BE AT THE SAILAWAY PARTY!!!!!

Villaness-Your welcome!Yes,it is amazing that in just one week it will be us getting ready to board.I am here sitting on the pc waiting to see the Magic sail out.I keep thinking next week I won't be here seeing it sail out as I will be onboard with you and the rest of our great friends on this thread!One of my dcparents made a beautiful quilt as a Christmas gift for me last year.I love it.I am sure you and your sister make some beautiful ones too.I hope you all have a great time together.Today,it has been rainy here in Gator town,and I hope and pray next Saturday it is sunny and nice out.Our crazy FL weather can be so unpredictable.

mbuckles-DH and I love the collage.We should all put it on our doors!Great job my friend!

momto2dkids-You sound like me I have so much to do before Saturday,but I am still finding time to get on here.I did get everything I wanted to get done today which is good.COngratulations to your dh!That is great that he is running the California International Marathon.I find myself stressing as to how many things I need to do this week as it is I haven't been sleeping good.I told dh I am going to get onboard and collapse.We will get it all done my friend!

Well,this time next week we will be heading out to sea!One week left my friends,and to think we started all this back when there were 100 and so days away!

I did the wash today and will be packing tomorrow. DD is off this week; so she will be packing Monday, probably.
Went out to dinner and couldn't help thinking we'd be in Lumiere's next Saturday (based on previous rotations).
Oh, have the questions been posted yet? Just wondering if I managed to miss them.

I will post the questions on Monday. I was waiting for any last minute questions to come in. If I counted right, we have 23 posters on this thread (different user names). Some have only posted once to say that they are going. I didn't count the ones that had to sadly leave us for another cruise (like Bbgrizzle-Bonnie, Buckleybunch, and Liligator). So far only 8 of the 23 posters have not provided questions.

I am nearly done packing for all of us. I am trying to pack more efficiently. This is our forth cruise (first with kids) and my husband says I overpack. I like to think of it as being prepared for anything. So far, I have done OK. By the end of this week it could get ugly................. I hope I don;t forget anything for the kids. Any suggestions?

ann southworth-Your dh is sounds like mine.He is like you aren't overpacking this time around.It must be a man thing as it is too funny that my hubby says the same thing<G>.I look at it is being prepared too.My question is how cool are the evenings onboard the ship?I plan on taking a poncho as well as sweatshirt.I am wondering if that will be enough as far as warm clothes go.I don't want to freeze<VBG>.

My DH is the opposite. We go to WDW and stay in a Villa with a wash machine in the room and he brings about 20 t-shirts for an 8 day stay! I overpack a bit, but come on! I catch him and try to make him remove things. If there is any room left in the suitcase he's shoving a t-shirt in!
