December 10, 2009 3 Night Bahamian Cruise

DMMarla--I'm jealous. I wanna go to WDW now! Dec seems so far off. We are going to Branson, Mo. this weekend and once again in August maybe July too. We are season pass holders at White Water and Silver Dollar City. It's an easy drive for us. We are not doing the big vacation this summer, since we're going to FLa this Dec. Just long weekends. We might go to Kansas City, too. I really like KC. The fountains are so beautiful. KC has more fountains than Rome. It's fun for pictures. I'm just gonna be land locked this year:sad1:

my plans for the summer are to hopefully relax and enjoy it a bit! :thumbsup2

No big plans for the summer here as we are saving for the trip in December.

We may go river rafting for a day, otherwise, we will hit 6 Flags (kids and I have season passes) and spend weekends at my parents' pool (they live 5 minutes away).

Work is still crazy (which is good) but I have a week off in July to break up the weeks of camp for the kids.

Then it's just enjoying the shorter countdown to Disney. ;)

We live in Orlando and usually go visit my parents in DC for the summer, but this year we are going to save money and enjoy a 'stay-cation.' We have annual passes for WDW, Sea World and Universal so that will keep us busy. We're going to Islands of Adventure tomorrow -- that is our favorite theme park, my kids can't get enough of Seuss Island. We go on the cheap -- bring our own water, snacks, and eat at McDonalds on the way home.

We live 2 hours from the most beautiful Florida beaches, so I plan to spend alot of weekends there. Our "big" vacation was in March on the Magic.

Joining you guys on the 10th! Just booked and can't wait!

Thanks Laurie! This will be my 3rd - 3 day cruise. We were just on the Magic in February! Looking forward to seeing the Wonder decorated for the holidays!

I've heard they've changed the way they do the photo packages... anyone have any insight? Thanks!

TinkerKat welcome! This will be my first cruise, but there are some veterans on here that can help. DMMarla, do you know? She cruises alot. Lucky person!

We bought a package of photos on our 2/1 cruise. I think we had a mix of sizes for about $170 we got 12 pictures? I have the receipts and will check later today to see if I have the brochure with package prices and post it later.

Hi

We're booked on this cruise as well but am on a waiting list for knee replacement surgery & if it doesn't happen by September I will probably have to cancel as it would interfere with the dates. We're also booked for a 4 night B2B on December 6. We're not planning on participating in the FE this time as it's just myself & DH, although just want to say again that your picture frame was one of my favorite things.

Kind of a coincidence that the shuttle is due to take off on this date, when our meet n' greet was cut short by the shuttle landing on March 28.

nope don't know, when I went on my back-2-back in February/March it seemed the same to me as past cruises so don't know about the photo thing except there were a couple photo kiosk to view pictures on

We must have just missed each other....we cruised the Magic Jan 31 - Feb 7 2009. This is our first 3 day Wonder cruise. We've cruised the Magic 6 times - 4 seven days and 2 four days. It should be cool to be cruisin a few weeks before Christmas. See you on board!! Laurie

Found my receipt -
We bought the package that was $169.95. For that you get any 6 6x8 pictures and any 8 8x10 pictures. You could pick from stock pictures as well as your family ones. We bought a couple 6x8 stock pictures, because there weren't that many of us in 6x8. You can't change the size of the pictures, you are stuck with what they have in that size. It is refundable if you can't get enough of the pictures you like. You choose your pictures from the shelves and they mark your little card you get when you purchase the package. If you don't have enough, and want a refund, you can either buy them individually or return the whole package of them.

Oh - I found the brochure.
Here are the packages: This was the price of them as of Feb 1, 2009

Any 10 6x8 photos - $84.95
Any 15 6x8 photos $119.95
Any 20 6x8 phtos $139.95
any 30 6x8 photos $179.95

any 5 8x10 - $84.95
any 10 8x10 - $149.95
any 15 8x10 -194.95
any 20 8x10 - $249.95

COMBO
A: $169.95 - 6 6x8 and 8 8x10
B: $239.95 - 10 6x8 and any 12 8x10
C: $299.95 - any 20 6x8 and 15 8x10

I knew it was a good idea to save EVERY piece of paper from our trip!

Thanks for the photo prices...I'll have to budget some money for those and I'm sure I'll be getting some.

As for the sizes, I have read here that if you buy the photo, you can download the release form so you can re-size the photo at home if you'd like. Just smething to keep in mind.....
