Shari - I think you still have my bracelets. ::yes::
You have been running around all over the place, don't worry about it. I can get them from you on the ship.

A few days ago I realized that this weekend and next are the last real opportunities I will have to get things done before we leave. I about panicked! Anyone else starting to feel the squeeeeeeeze? :faint:

nope we are ready and packed and good to go, the last thing i need to do is buy tickets for wdw and US/IOA which i will de before we leave and have them at will call and just grab them then,

i already got Seaworld and BG tickets,

Sorry everyone - I have not been adding to our thread count very well! I had a lot going on this week. After my interview last week, the 3 internal candidates (incl. me) got an email that we had to create a 30-60-90 Day Action Plan in 2 days to submit to the review team. Ugghhh.. I am so sick of it. I wish they would just decide!

I started my packing list consolidation today - and getting everything together to send to my brother and Mom. Since I am the vacation planner, I always create books with copies of everything and itineraries for each family. I am so behind this time!

I picked up some foam backing in different colors and magnetic strips to put on the back of the foam. I figure I can glue the pictures I am going to print on the foam and those will be my door signs. I am hoping to sneak down to the rooms first and put the signs on the all 3 doors to welcome everyone.

OMG....26 days!

I saw a thread on the forum that the 11/30 cruisers are starting to get their upgrade notice/phone calls. Except for Shawn (:-)), who else here is hoping for an upgrade? We are in Cat 5, but I am sure I wouldn't mind going to a Cat 4 - or heck, even 3, haha!

See you guys in 4 weeks! Kristen

I'm all for upgrades-having connecting rooms I'm not going to expect it though! It might ruin all my hard work on door signs because I put our room # on them (I thought if I said it out loud then Murphy's law would kick in and I might actually get an upgrade!)

This one was really easy- For embarkation Day!

If anyone wants me to make them door signs I can customize the ones I've made for your family...PM me.

I like this one

Kristen - You go girl, you can do it!!!!! We have missed your company. I know how important your interview is to you. I hope it pays off. Keep focused and Good luck!!

Andrea - Your signs look wonderful. Im impressed.

Ian - Im sorry....Im a little slow sometimes must be a southern thing!!!!!!

Shawn - Christie had the cutest camo outfit that she thought she was taking on the cruise but has hit yet another growth spirt. She has always be a shorty (im 5'2") but is really starting to grow. I would like for her to about 5'5". Thats what I always wanted to be. All my sisters are taller that me. My Mom is the same height as me. Therefore we have yet another reason not to let our "too bucks" expire.

Nanc - Im so sorry!!!! I will mail Monday for sure. I want you to get them before you leave.

I am worried about our secretary. She has a glass eye from a childhood infection. Now her other eye is doing the same thing. She has been to Dallas, TX to have test. All I know is we have been praying hard. We rely on her so much. She does such a great job that we gave here a trip to disney world the week after Thanksgiving. So bless her heart, she is worried about her trip (LOL) and Im am worried about her. She is forty six and never been to WDW. She does all of our taxes and everything and our cpa checks everything each quarter. I was not a happy camper this week. I am a little spoiled being my own boss for 10 years. The desk job deal is taxing on my nerves.BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH.........sorry.

What do yall think about the bottled water situation? I know its expensive but I dont know how Im going to get all my other stuff down there. Any suggestions?

I decided to not let Christie and Howard be able to charge on their KTTW card. I bought them Disney gift cards that can be used anywhere in WDW and on the ship as well as all of the stores. They wont need it in the parks and I punched a hole in them so they can attach to their lanyards and wrote their name on them with a permanent marker. I got them in twenty five dollar increments so they dont just go lose $150.00 in one wack. Im not worried about them charging stuff without asking as much as Im am worried about them losing them.

I am happy about getting Howard a Nascar headset with radio so when we go to the races he dont have to rent them. Of course it was #8 style. He has no idea. He will be stoked at Christmas time. I like it when I find something great they didnt ask for!!! He will think Mom ROCKS!!! Keep in mind he is fixing to turn 10...He asked for a 1969 Camaro project car. He thinks we need to get it now so we can tub it out and put big wheels on it. He wants a blower motor. He knows what he wants. He gets its honest from his dad!!! All I want is an H2. Is that too much for a girl to ask?
Christie wanted a dvd / vhs player. She has both but wants them together. I got her the new ZOOM box instead. It is really cool.

Kristen - I would love an upgrade just to a balcony. I am happy where we are but William said that if we could upgrade at the port to a balcony, he didnt mind spending the money. I dont really care what cat. it is.

I am so dang excited, but feeling the squeeze big time.

Our house was built in 1914. We are in a smaller house than what we are used to. We are used to spacious rooms and walk in closets. They didnt have that back then. We are starting to knock out a wall (perfect timing on the love of my lifes part) Before Thanksgiving we are putting an opening from one side of our house to the other. Currently it is like Shot gun style down both parts. No hallways. In the next two weeks, we are going to sheetrock over plaster in two rooms, paint, and new security doors on all exterior doors. The week after Thanksgiving they are redoing my wood floors on that side of the house. And....Viola we will be alot more comfortable. All of this on top of finishing my stuff for the trip and filling in for the secretary.

i have the cutest rolling cooler, i am buying water and packing it in the cooler and taking it on board.

Jeremy was just telling me this morning that there is less than one month away!! Wow and so much to do in that time!

Andrea- Your door signs are great!

Shawn - I am going to make Alexis a special shirt to wear on the 10th and I got her gifts for her basket and will have some little special treats for the time we are on the boat and in Disney.

Kristen - we are in a Cat 6 and are happy with the rooms we selected, but if we get that call for a Cat 3, etc...I would be like "sure!" :rotfl:

Shari - I hope everything goes well with your secretary, and hope she loves her time in WDW! That wil be a very wonderful and memorable trip for her. :cloud9:

My little slumber party girls didnt go to bed until 3:30 this morning!!!! My internal alarm clock with help from medication went off at 5:30 this morning. I dont feel tired yet but when I come off this medicine I expect to crash and burn!!!!!!

I got a little ticked off at the hotel last night. I had to sign a party clause because of the 5 little ones. They are good children and not really a rowdy bunch. We went and got our nails done, then out to eat, and on to the hotel. After they swam for two hours they were worn down. They wanted to have a fashion show in the hallway. Not running or clapping or being loud. They used decorations out of the room. The couple next to us complained we were making to much noise. I told the lady it wasnt us and she snipped back at me (I was being very nice and polite, and excuse me but I am the customer!!!!) I asked the girls if they minded just watching the videos we brought or play a game. They all agreed. WHAT IS THAT NOISE? It appears the floor above us is having a party. I called down to the front desk to invite her into my room and just listen. She said she would take care of it. Needless to say, she never apologized nor did the noise stop. We have stayed at this hotel several times, in between moves, redoing floors, anniversarys(!!!!!) It is a Drury INN. I have stayed enough to have three free nights. Never a bad stay or complaint. When we had a two week stay here, it was during a baseball tournament and we never complained about the excessive noise and we had to work the next day. Should I complain now to the district manager or just let bygones be bygones. I guess the real reason I am upset is because they truly were not being loud. I was with them at all times. I felt like they were being punished because of the upstairs party. They all seemed to have a good time. Thanks for listening to me vent!!!!

Shari- I'm bringing a cooler and I'm going to make a stop at the store before we board to fill it up. I think when it's empty I will fill it with all the souvenir stuff and ship it home (or check it on as luggage).

I'll be praying for your secretary (and you!), how sweet that she's worried about tha vacation and how nice of you to do that for her...If you need a new secretary soon I may be willing to re-locate :rotfl:

Shawn-I bought a whole suitcase full of tinkerbell gifts. Two of my kids have birthdays while we are there, so I'm trying to make up for the lack of a birthday party. I didn't want teh others to feel left out so I got them stuff too. Stickers, autograph books, pens, t-shirts, disney mp3 players, disney wallets, I think that's all...

hey are we doing little things for each other or for the kids.

if for the kids can we get a mster list of names and ages, then i can also pick up some things, i think it would be cool for kids to come back to the cabin and find something for them outside the door.

U don't think anyone would take the stuff do you? I hope not.

So please, let's do something with the names and ages of the kids quick as time is moving fast and i need to get started.

I am confused on the shirt thing, her birthday is on the 14th, on the 10th all of the girls are doing the army outfit things and what basket? U R 2 much!

I am game for whatever everyone else wants to do. I got gift bags for the children already on Pirates night. Its just pencils, gold coins, treasure chest with a gold necklace in it. They are just party favors. I have to go back through my stuff to see what else I have. I have 24 treat bags and I think we only needed 22 or 23. I just thought it would be fun.

I have gifts for my children every night based on the next days port. Like on the night before castaway cay, I have them a waterproof camera, a mickey or donald with a life ring on. I also got them tupperware color changing disney cup with lid. I cant remember the other things for that day. The night before pirate night, I got them pirate chicken little and pirate goofy, and other pirate wear. I am going to go though my stuff this week to see just what I do have. I made them indiviual coolers full of stuff for the land part. Most everthing I got them, they will use.

I am starting to worry about shipping my stuff down earlier. I know my friend has done it before, but if the lose it or something, it would ruin my trip. I had plans to ship early to resort and ship. What do yall think?

We have been so busy this weekend working on the company Christmas party. It is the Monday after we get back.

Friday is the big day for me. I have to get my hands on a Playstation 3. I will be so relieved when that is over. I dont want to let him down. I even pondered camping out. If I could talk William into doing it with me, I would. The problem is that it is only going to be 37 degrees that night. I have a little propane heater that I use for the races. I could also bet me a battery operated blanket. My sister, William, and his sister are also going to help me by going to other stores if the camping trip dont happen.

I think I missed the post about the army outfits?? Are all the girls wear it?? I can tie in the birthday thing and the army thing!! he he he :rotfl: It would make an interesting slogan "Drop and give me 20 happy birthdays!!" Jeremy is much better at thinking up interesting sayings! :rotfl2:

Alexis' birthday is on the 10th and my FIL is on the 12th! We have a lot of birthdays going on. The basket thing is from the perfect gift and they will make up a basket for you and have it delivered to the room before you get there!

I am game for giving the kids a little something! I think it would be neat! Just need a head count so all the kids have something! :cheer2:
