Does anyone know if there is anything like the BBB on the cruise for the little ones to get their hair done for the dressy night. She would love to. It wouldnt be just awful if they didnt. Just wanted to add a little fun on her part. She turns 11 on October 16 and she is going all out. We went to get her material for her "Belle" dress with a Christie twist. We ended up spending $60.00 for some beautiful gold silk material. My Mom had a fit. (she will be the one sewing it, Thank goodness for a Mom that can sew) She will be outdressing me as I plan on wearing a black skirt and dressy shirt I wore last year for a Christmas Party. A little to dressy for church but not a formal. I imagine my DH ans DS will probably wear plain black suits. I want this to be a good photo. At times she wants to be a tomboy, but on the other hand she is a princess. Belle has always been her favorite. I am sitting here thinking, I still have to buy her some shoes!!!!

when i see BBB i think of the better business bureau so i am clueless on the issue

We are proud members of the BBB!!!!!!! I thought the same thing for a while. Its the bibbidi bobbidi boutique. I know that is not spelled right. Its like Libby Lu. They have one at dtd I believe. It would be neat for them to have one on the ship.

curious who is dressing up for pirate night and who is not?

1. Yes to parasailing - dd and dh anyway.

2. Yes to Pirate's Night - I have purchasing odds and ends all year for the 5 kids we will have with us. Things like patches, fake hoop earrings, a fake parrot for the shoulder. No for the adults Also, my kid's still have their pirate bandanas with the mickey ears from the Pirate's Cruise they did at the Grand Floridian a couple of years ago.

3. I have also been buying Disney related items (like pens, shirts, stuffed animals,etc) when I see them deeply discounted at Target, Wal-Mart, Disneyshopping for daily gifts for the kids. They get to pick one present a day and I hope it cuts down on the "I want..." syndrome at the parks!

so low and behold i mention pirate night and guess what, everyone wants to do it, i can't believe it, they are strange, i thought i knew my family well i guess not, where do you get stuff for that, i am thinking to wait since halloween is coming up and get stuff then... what night is pirate night on the four day cruise

I dont know what night it is but we are dressing up. Maybe not all the way, just depending on what I can find. The children will have costumes. Maybe just the shirts and vest and black slacks for us.....I dont know. We hust want to have the time of our lives. The more into it the better. Right now it is so easy to find pirate stuff in party stores and such. Can you imagine the pictures.

For those staying in cat3, (I read today that cat1,2 and 3), that you can order room service from Palo. Just a little tid bit of info I ran across.

I sent the seller a message asking if she would combine shipping, but maybe it would be better if we all buy a set (I think there are 8 at 1.99 ea with $2.00 shipping, so $4 total). NOt a bad deal to have that hurdle out of the way

I like all of them. If you would make the executive decision, I am willing to buy enough for all of us so we would be sure for all of us to have them. I could then mail everybody theirs, so they would have them before we go. Just let me know. I have bought several of the glow necklaces and bracelets for the children for the parades and ship at night.(just for fun) Also, at walgreens in Memphis they have alot of disney stuff for a dollar or two. I made my children a basket for the hotel.

That is so nice of you to offer to do that! That is a lot of work

I can buy some too - maybe one person staying at WDW could get 1/2 and one staying at the Radisson could do the other?

Bless your heart for going through all the trouble of searching for these! I guess I would go with the second choice, the Class of 2006 from OT.

We'll more than likely be dressing for pirate night. At the very least hats on the adults and the kids (11, 16 & 20) will be in costume...they already have them thanks to a Grandma that works in a Halloween store!

O K. I just read all 23 pages since I joined the group later on like on page 8 or 9. I wrote everybodys "DIS screen name" down, where they were staying before the cruise if mentioned and how many in their party if mentioned. I found a few that has only been on here once or twice. Maybe they are shy and I should PM them and invite them back? We have 15 groups and approx 67 people. One person never said so I counted four for them. Three of the groups changed numbers more than once, so I went with the last one. I would feel safe at 75 bracelets. We have people at 5 different resorts and 4 different hotels by airport or port, and 3 that dont mention it. If everyone would vote this week, we could make it official next week and order and mail out. I have no problem doing this. Actually, the mailout could be done at the office. It would be no big deal. This will give me something to do with the trip. I will be out of town from Thursday until Monday this coming weekend. That will give everyone a chance to vote. I want to make sure everyone gets them after talking yalls ears off for months. My husband is glad I have someone to talk disney with.

Also, after reading everybodys stuff, believe or not, there is stuff I havent commented on!!!!! Such as..........
1. we are late seating at dinner.
2. I will be decorating my door at the resort and on the ship.
My daughter made a pretty picture in art of the ship(3-D)
I will not have our pictures on it.
we also have some poc stuff.
At the resort...It will be christmas decor made of home depot mickey
heads
3. My vote for meeting up would be around the sail away party (before or
after)
4. We wont be getting on the ship early. I dont know what time magical
express takes us to the port, but we are in no hurry to leave the parks.
We will be separating from our friends at this point. Yes we are very
excited about the ship, but a few hours wont make a difference for us.
5. Someone mentioned magnetic picture paper for the doors. I bought some
at the dollar tree (4 x 6). I dont know the quailty because I havent used
it but I would think it would suffice for this.
6. Someone mentioned "tag". I dont know how to play, but I think it
would be fun. Would I need something that pertains to Memphis for
this like Elvis or BBQ?
7. If anyone wants pillowcases, you can get cute disney ones at walmart.
I despise walmart, but made an exception for these. I got a tink one
and a cars one, now I need a fabric marker. You can also get disney
panchos if you dont want to buy a 10 dollar one there. I always carry
several disposables(dollar tree) to throw away after SM and Kali River.
The pillowcases are 3.96 and the panchos are 5.96.
8. We dont gamble usually, but I cant wait for BINGO!!!!!!
(thats just really entertainment)


I am going to bed now!!!!! Do yall think I may be a tad excited?
My Poor baby boy.......I never read anything about 9 or 10 year old boys.
He will be 2 weeks shy of turning ten.
