The game of tag sounds like fun! Will someone lay out exactly how this is played? I think I can imagine it, but I'm sure someone here knows!

Also, anyone have any additional thoughts on the on-board meet, especially for those not staying near the port and participate in the pre-cruise dinner meet?

WILL EVERYONE BE FINISHED WITH THEIR CHRISTMAS SHOPPING BEFORE WE GO? MY HUSBAND AND I BOTH HAVE OUR OWN BUSINESSES AND WE ALSO HAVE CHRISTMAS PARTIES TO PLAN, EMPLOYEE GIFTS AND BONUS, AND VENDOR GIFTS TO GET OUT OF THE WAY TOO! WE DID IT LAST YEAR AND EVERYTHING TURNED OUT OKAY BUT THAT WAS ONLY SIX DAYS OUT OF TOWN AS OPPOSED TO NINE DAYS. NOT TO MENTION CHRISTMAS CARDS.

I am hoping we get a good family picture on the cruiseand I am going to do photo cards this year instead of traditional Christmas Cards. I figured I can address the envelopes ahead of time then just take the pic to Sam's and have the cards made in an hour or two. We'll see if it actually happens! Andrea

SINCE YOU ARE GOING TO BE AT THE PARKS ANYWAY, THERE MAY BE A PLACE TO GET YOUR CARDS DONE THERE BEFORE YOU LEAVE, UNLESS YOU WERE WANTING IT FROM THE CRUISE. LAST YEAR WE TOOK OUR DISNEY PICTURE AND HAD OUR VALENTINES DAY CARDS MADE FROM DISNEY PHOTOPASS. WE WERE IN OUR CHRISTMAS EARS IN FRONT OF THE OSBOURNE LIGHTS...IT WAS GREAT. MAYBE CHECK MGM ON THE MAIN DRAG IN THAT PHOTO PLACE TO MAYBE HELP YOU OUT. GOOD LUCK!! JUST DIDNT WANT YOU TO MAIL FROM BAHAMAS AND RUIN YOUR HOLIDAYS.

I think I get to make part of your reservations Sept. 4th - if my math skills are correct (and believe me, that is a HUGE assumption!), that is 90 days out for Castaway Cay members. I am not, but my parents are, so I am going to try to reserve Palo and maybe a spa appointment under their name!

You should contact concierage - I think it should be in your packet. They willmake all of your reservations for you. That how my parents did it last time!

We're flying down on December 9th, and have our tickets already. We've had our air booked for quite a while.

After the cruise we are staying an additional 8 nights in WDW, coming home on the 22nd. We found that we bumped up against the holiday and it was hard to get cheap airfare, so we jumped on the best rates we could find.

Our window just started this morning at 3am EDT. I am up for work, or I wouldn't even be doing this! I just made Palo reservations. There are 2 people in our cabin, but I was able to make the reservation for up to 6 people. There are 4 in our party, so that's what I did. I made them for the 3rd night, although I am not so happy about the times that they offered. I had a choice of 6:30 or 7. I booked 7 for now, and will likely ask the conceirge to change it to 8/8:30 when we embark.

I thought I read somewhere that they don't offer the brunch on the 3 & 4 day cruises? I'll try to find where I read it...

OK my bad- it's offered on the 4 day but not the 3 day. It's High Tea that is only offered on the 7 day.
