December 03, 2005 Western Magic?

Good Morning everyone!

Its been awhile since I have been on here. Lucky me I was chosen for jury duty and have spent this last week serving on a trial. Glad its over with, but now I am a week behind at work. I have been trying to keep up in the evenings.

I have a question, I see that it was mentioned "not to forget everyone birth certificate". Do you need a birth certificate if you have a passport? Do you need a passport (daughter and myself do not have one, DH is outdated). I guess the real question is what documentation is required? If I can start gathering this information ahead of time.

You need either one. If you have a passport you don't need the BC. If you don't have a passport then you need an official BC with the raised seal. If you don't have everyones BC you can order them online from http://www.vitalchek.com/?clicked=1, they are very quick and it's a simple process. You can also go to the county court house, if you still live in the city you were born in, and order it. I prefer to use vitalchek. I think it costs $10 for the BC and $10 for s/h, but to me it was worth it, and it's loads cheaper than having a passport made.

Well....we can't have that!!! :earseek: :earseek: :earseek:

See ya at CHAT :chat: :chat:

But I am loving the Mickey Bar :mickeybar and the yummy :cake: cake....
Not sure where you are going with the "uncooked":fish: fish - are you having a fish fry? :scared1: ?

Well it's snowing like crazy and the kids are thrilled. I'm also thrilled because I don't have to go anywhere and the kids are outside. This means I can go online in peace!

Someone asked for 2 or 3 of our favorite cruise tips. These are mine:
1) Pack 1 or 2 clear over the door shoe holders. These were lifesavers for us. It kept shoes, cell phones, glow sticks, club badges, club pager and all misc. stuff in one place and off the desk and counters.

2) Get to the port early 10:30 or so. It was fun to meet our cruise buddies from our thread.

3) Make the effort to spend time with the new people you meet. This made our trip extra special. It's easy to keep to your own group but the effort is worth it for adults and the kids.

I've been online getting quotes from DU, All Seasons Travel and Costco for our trip. We rebooked on board but I'll probably transfer our resi to a TA if I can find a better price. Any suggestions for other agencies to try?

All for now. Have a great weekend!

Hi Gailyn....it is snowing like crazy here, too. Eastern Long Island is suppose to get 18-24 inches......I will keep you posted!!!

We have a group :grouphug: rate thru AAA Kim - send cjsmom an email to inquire - the price was good and we are getting a $150 per cabin (1-10) rebate plus a group gift and other benifits of being a group including our own DCL coordinator.

 Thanks for all the birthday wishes! Vicki, loved the fish, LOL!

So sorry you all are snowed in. Sarah is so jealous, she asked if we could please move back to No. VA so she could be in a blizzard again. Mostly rain here, I wouldn't mind a couple of inches of snow, but not 2 feet! :earseek:

Here's to hot cocoa and long underwear! :drinking:

Tom just came in and said it is un- :earseek: -believeable how much snow fell just in the last hour - he keeps going back out every hour to shovel our path - 1 to 2 inches per hour falling......they are also saying high tide will be 4-7 feet above normal - it will be some mess here tomorrow.......
If I was on the :wizard: Magic, I would be sitting in Parrot Cay with my DIS  buddies having our first dinner..... :boat: :boat: :boat:

Edited to say I am working on my DCL Scrapbook - Sarah, you have created a monster :jumping4: :flower1:
I never knew paper came in sooooo many colors and patterns.......

Well it has snowed about 12 inches today and it keeps coming down. As quick as we could shovel the driveway more snow would fall! The kids of course thought this was hilarious!!

Oh well, we warmed ourselves up with pizza and a pitcher of margaritas with neighbors (not the kids of course!!). Tomorrow we're going to see "Nemo on Ice". I don't look forward to the drive downtown.

CJSMOM,
I just sent you a PM regarding AAA group rate information.

Have a nice weekend!

Ok experienced cruisers, what should I wear for the formal evening? How about Hubby? Are the children included, my daughter has a beautiful dress should would love to show off.

I think we all pretty much went all out for formal night. You will see a lot of tuxes for the men although my husband wore a very nice suit. As for the kids, the fluffier the better! When else can they dress like Cinderella for dinner and blend right in??? :earseek: :bride:
