Matt is home sick today and is sleeping in. Since I had so much peace and quiet I was able to go back to page one (without one of the kids whining for the computer or DH teasing me for being addicted to the Dis) and get re-connected with our group ! What a nice morning, having coffee and catching up on posts on the Dis !

John and Susan, thanks for adding us to the door sign list! Greg's favorite character is Goofy and mine is Pluto. Thanks again.

Lizardman, I have one correction for the list, our cabin numbers are 6620 and 6622. We will be at BWV or AKL before the cruise and will also be at MVMCP on Thursday.

Cindy (Macphrsn), thanks for sharing that the crowds have been minimal on this day in the past. We went for the first time last year on the Sunday after the cruise (second Sunday after Thanksgiving) and the MK was mobbed !! There were so many locals and school groups it was a nightmare . So we decided no more Sundays! We chose Thursday because I'm hoping that many of the Thanksgiving weekend visitors will have gone home.

The week after Thanksgiving is my favorite at WDW. I think it is one of the least crowded of the year. Before we started cruising that week we spent it at WDW a couple of times. I'd really like to join you for a day or two before the cruise. I have to work on Rick. My Matt is old enough now to stay awake for MVMCP.

We've joined the AAA group for this cruise. THANKS Jeanna!!!! We got to keep the $200 credit from booking on board last year and also get the AAA $75 and gift. So far I'm keeping the price I got through Disney because with the 10% discount it's cheaper, but Kim is double checking. AND .. we have EARLY seating. I'm really excited about not having to deal with that on boarding day.

Key West - I'm checking into a Glass Bottom boat. Has anyone done that in Key West? The snorkeling is supposed to be really good down there so I assume there would be lots of fish to see. The brother of someone I work with recently went to Key West to become a captain on one of those boats. I need to find a minute at work to talk to her about it. He just sold his house, quit his job (I dont' know what he did) and took the family down there. Sometimes I wish I could run away like that!!!! But, alas, I have to work to afford to go on vacation with you guys - my soon to be new friends.

It was my pleasure! We still have a couple more rooms left if you have any family that decides to add on. We actually have a set of connecting Cat 6's that I am really surprised haven't sold yet. They were the last set that was available so we got them for someone that either had a bigger family and had to get 2 rooms or for those that just wanted to be connecting for added convenience. Oh well, maybe it will be of use to someone soon.

I have a ? for those of you DIS junkies... we are driving down to Orlando next week and REALLY need to find out how the traffic is going into Atlanta on Good Friday. Here in Chicago, it is great! We just don't want to get up super early only to sit in traffic for an extra hour. I need to find out ASAP as we would have to book a hotel for the night. ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!

It's a heatwave! The sun is out and it's nearly 50 degrees!!! I haven't seen the sun in so long I forgot what it looks like!!!!!

Jeanna, thanks for your help. I transferred our resie and then my inlaws resie to Kim at AAA. She was very nice and helpful. I appreciated that she took the time to call me on her day off.

Diane, thanks for the note. Matt is still sick so it's another glorious day of watching TV and napping together!!! I hate that he's sick, but we are both really enjoying doing nothing together!! I'm also glad to know that the crowds at WDW are light the week after Thanksgiving. We enjoyed MVMCP last year, but it was just too crowded.

I just booked rooms at AKL for the M, T, W, TH, Fri. before the cruise. I still have our DVC resie at BWV as well. I'm hoping that we'll be able to get a good annual passholder rate at AKL and try it out. If not, we'll cancel AKL and keep our BWV resie. The woman who helped me on the phone at Disney reservations told me to book AKL at the regular rate now to hold the rooms and then this summer when the AP rates come out, call with the discount code. I hadn't done that in the past and had always missed out when I called to book at AP rates, they had no availability.

Hi all......glad to be back...had a fun trip to Aruba....but starting to think about the cruise, too!
I am arriving either Monday or Tuesday before the cruise and hope to go to MVMCP? on Thursday with Hannosmom and Family. This will be a first for me and I am really looking forward to it.

Last time - we all had SOOOOOOOO many questions as many of us had not been on a 7 day before.....now we are "pros" and so I know for me, it is going to be more about what to do at the ports then about the trip itself.....so don't get discouraged,,,things will pick up soon

Sorry to have been off line so long. Matt had pnemonia and the barffing flu, the pnemonia passed to me, but luckily not the barffing part LOL!!! We're all feeling much better now thank goodness !

Since we went on the eastern last year I don't have any ideas for excursions on this trip. What were your favorites last year? Did you take small kids into Key West or make it an adult trip?

well well well. looks like we are slowly growing for this cruise. cant wait for december now. oh ya almost forgot GO LOUISVILLE FINAL 4 BABY .
