I think this Friday might be good. I have consulted my very full calendar and it looks good. This season I am coaching 2 soccer teams and still haven't seemed to lose my spot on the Board. I have only been working 60-65 hours for the last couple weeks. The week I was on vacation, I still managed 60 hours worth of time (40 vacation and another 20+ worked on top of that). GO FIGURE!!! One of these days I will just walk away from this life sucking thing I call a computer. One of these days.....

I have a brief story and a question. First of all, we just ordered personalized shirts and sweatshirts for our cruise from Disneydirect.com (During the 20% of personalization sale) . Anyway, the first line reads "Pirouznia Family Cruise," the second line originally read "Disney Magic Dec. '05," and the third line has our names. Well, today I received an email from them stating that they could not process our order and to call Guest Services. Come to find out, we are not allowed to use any Disney trademarked word like Disney Magic or Disneyland by itself. The word "at" or "on" or "to" must precede it. I thought this was kinda weird since we did order the shirts from them. We settled for the second line reading "On the Disney Cruise Line Dec. '05." Has anybody had problems like this before or heard of anything so ridiculous?

Yep, the same thing happened to several people that sailed with us last year. They were told the exact same thing that you were.

Crazy, but true!! They don't want their trademark names being misused. Your alternate plan sounds just fine though!!

Bonjour everyone! A kind person directed me to this board. Was it Sarah? I've been reading the past posts and I feel almost "naughty". I know about people throwing up, ruined dresses, icon overloads, April Fool's jokes and now problems with embrodery. I'm like a new kid in the class...everyone is already friends and I'm that weird kid with the funky hair and tattoos. Good thing is, I'm awfully friendly and I'm not afraid of icons!

I'll fill you in on the family...
There is myself...Kitty, who is under 40.
DH who is just missed that 40 cut off. Ah, too bad!
DS, who will be 9 on the cruise and is also type 1 diabetic (dx'd Xmas 02)
DD, who will be 8 on the cruise.
This will be cruise #3 for us. We were on Western in Aug 02 and Eastern Dec 03.
We have never done an excursion and had a wonderful time anyway. My favorite souviner in Cozumel is a painted duck feather.
DH's favorite thing is to buy rum, put it in a flask, bring it to supper, order a diet coke and pour the rum into it. *hic*
DH likes to relax. I like to sign up for everything. I "relocate" the mini Navagators that the Cast Members get so it's easier for me to see what's on the list of things to do today and not carry around a big ol Navagator.
Kids spend pretty much every waking hour (and then some...they are normally crashed out when I grab them at 12:30am) at the club.
That's my story. Yawnsville.
FYI...if you haven't booked a room at the Raddison, forget about it. They are sold out for Dec 2. Curses to all of you who booked in December!!

Welcome Aboard, Mooch! Glad to see you found us! Don't feel like the third wheel. We're too nice a group to let anyone feel like that! I have 4 dd's. One will be 8 at time of cruise. Her name is Stia (Christina). She'd love to have a friend on board! Love the flask idea. I have a friend here at home who brings his flask everywhere we go. I told him if he doesn't leave his bottle here (at my home), he's just showing me he doesn't trust me w/ his booze! Too bad about the Radisson. You'll just have to meet up with those of us who go to MK before the cruise! Oh, and btw, it was my ruined dresses you read about....you voyeur you!!

I just got another kick in the seat of the pants....we have 2nd sitting for supper. Cripes! What next, our room is really downstairs with the Cast Members? We are on the waiting list for 1st sitting and with our medical forms filled out, I'm hoping that helps us squeeze in. With DH and DS both diabetics, we need to feed them at that time or we will have some low blood sugars.

I'm hoping we get our old room, 6030 (unless they want to upgrade me, which I wouldn't cry about). I'm hoping my TA can tell me what room we have. <crossing fingers>

Does this group have normal chat days/times?

We used to have a regular chat day/time but it kinda fell apart after our last cruise. Would love to get it going again on a day and time I can participate regularly.

Welcome moochinkassarole! I have added your family to the cruise list on the first post. Let me know if you want something changed or added. I was actually thinking about the rum idea, but was considering minibottles. I like the flask idea better. We will be staying at the local Motel 6 the night before the cruise. We are flying in from Salt Lake City the night before. Because we are using frequent flyer miles, we had to fly in to Jacksonville. If anybody knows some cool stops for our return trip to Jacksonville, let me know, I'm all ears. I know some people have mentioned Capatin Marvin's in the Grand Caymans. What time should I book ours? Will the 8 AM work?
One more thing, we have late seating also, but we have it by choice. We live in Mountain time zone, so I figured it would be like eating at 6:30 over here. Besides, my kids seem to eat dinner better if we eat a little late.
